Springbok's Dragon Heart 500 Piece Round Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults - Unique Cust Pieces with Spectacular Dragon Image - Made in USA

This was a really pretty puzzle but it was not easy. You do not have the traditional edge pieces since this is a round puzzle. Not all the edges actually fit together, you will need the next inside piece in order for them to stay in play. But in the end it was worth it.

I do a lot of puzzles but don't often do round ones. I also usually do 1000 piece puzzles so figured this one, at 500 pieces, wouldn't be too tough. It was harder than I thought as most of the pieces are non-standard shapes. It was fun to put together. I usually start with the boarders but this one I started from the inner picture with the border pieces going in last. I am amazed that every puzzle I purchase has all the pieces (very rare for any missing pieces). This was no exception. Beautiful picture, great price, fast delivery. Nice!

Springbok now isn't nearly the excellent quality it used to be. I did this puzzle very shortly before digging out my old Pops Town Springbok puzzle from the 1980s. The board on this one is only about 2/3 the thickness of the vintage puzzle, and the pieces from the vintage puzzle fit truly solidly together, while these are pretty loose. In several places throughout you also have to have two adjoining pieces in place to make a full slot to lock the next piece's tab into.The puzzle's round shape also made the looseness issue more important because there is no solid edge on this puzzle. I tried to use my usual edges-first assembly method, but in several places the true edge is just pieces butted up against one another. You have to assemble almost everything outside the green border line to get the edge to actually hold together (stated another way, consider the green border and all the little eggs part of the "edge"). Luckily, the little eggs around the border are very visually distinct from the interior of the design.The colors are vibrant, the images are sharp, and I love the design. There is also good variety in the piece shapes so it's rare to connect anything wrong. Those factors pulled this up from the 3 stars I'd have given based on the basic material, fit, and edge integrity issues.

I have put puzzles together for years and this is one I will remember. The colors or the dragon picture are just beautiful and it's shape makes it interesting to work on.My Granddaughter saw I loved the puzzle---and she made the "Dragon Scales" afgan behind the photo.Springbok's Dragon Heart puzzle would make the perfect gift. FUN FOR ALL!

We participated in Springbok contests years ago. The puzzles were alway excellently carved. The uniquely shaped pieces fit together perfectly. You could put together a section and move it to the correct location once that place had been found.The two round puzzles we just bought are terrible. They are very thin and don’t fit together well. So you cannot assemble a section to move later.. It just won’t stay together. Quality is no long associated with the name Springbok!

I love this puzzle. It was challenging but not hard. I finished it in 2 days. Gorgeous colors and the pieces locked in pretty good. I used puzzle glue to glue it and hung it on the wall with the other dragon puzzles. A nice addition to my collection! P.s I worked this puzzle basically from the inside out. I usually start with the frame but that wasn't working so I just started working it and fit the frame pieces in last.

She doesn't have the best eyes but loves puzzles. I read another review that said this was tricky, or fiddly but she didn't complain and seemed to really enjoy it and she does a lot of puzzles.The puzzle looks really nice put together.
