Nice affordable large hammock rain fly
I like everything they did with this tarp. I sewed velcro straps on each end to close the doors up and I sewed an elastic loop midway on each side. These weren't required, just my prep work for some cold weather camping with my hammock. This tarp kept me dry and will reach down to about 10 inches from the ground. I may add a 18" skirt to really block the wind but if you eliminate all air flow you'll have condensation issues. Anyway excellent tarp at a great price. I bought 3 of them.

Great tarp for the money
I'm a hammock camper, so well versed with tarps and their finicky ness. This tarp is stellar at a $65 price point. I have tarps that are more than double this price, but I love this tarp. The ease of set up, once you figure out the ridge line (I added micro beaner to secure around tree, see pic). Once secured around your tree, simply slide the tension device to secure. The included spreader bar really opens the inside (pic of inside shows adult size collapsible camping chair for scale). The corner pockets for the corner tie out is great. The hardware to adjust the corners is simple to use and attached to bungee to allow flex with the wind. Bought another as a birthday gift and a friend bought one for himself.

Better than what i thought.
Nice and easy to set up and take down. The camo is better than the picture. It's different. Camo works great in the woods!!!!!! Blends very well. Highly recommend. I use it with my onewind 11ft hammock. The camo looks the same as my hammocks camo. Looks great together. You can see my hammock in here, on Amazon. Very happy with it. Took a chance and it worked out well!!!!

A Functional Fly Without Poles / Not A Tent
I bought this Waterproof Camping Tent Tarp, thinking it would be the perfect all-in-one solution for my outdoor trips. The description made it sound like it could be used as a tent or a fly, which sounded awesome. But when I got it, I realized that it's really just a tarp that you can use as a fly or sort of rig up as a tent if you're desperate.Don't get me wrong—the tarp itself is pretty solid. It's made of this 210T polyester waterproof fabric that feels like it can take a beating. And it does a great job of keeping the rain out. With a 2000 mm waterproof rating, it can handle the typical rain showers that happen while camping. The silver-plated fabric on the inside is supposed to block UV rays and provide insulation, which is nice. But here's the thing: the accessories that come with it are a letdown. I was expecting this aluminum pole that was mentioned, but it wasn't included. Instead, I got these six flimsy aluminum stakes that bend too easily to be of much use. And the guylines? Just some thin nylon string. I don't know about you, but when I'm camping on the beach, I need at least four sturdy poles to keep my shelter up, especially if it gets windy. Trying to make do with just one pole is a joke.Another thing to keep in mind is that while this tarp is great at blocking water, it also blocks airflow. So, if you're looking for something to give you shade but still let the breeze through, this isn't the best choice. At the end of the day, the Camping Tent Tarp Waterproof is an okay product, but it has limitations. It works well as a waterproof fly, but don't count on it being a full-fledged tent. Be prepared to invest in some better stakes and guylines. Just be realistic about what you're getting, and you won't be disappointed.

Great value, wrong size
This tarp is very well thought out and the build quality is very good. My only issue is the ridgeline coverage length is only 10’-4”. I’m willing to re-review once the replacement comes in? I hope it is at least close to 14’, I’m covering an 11’ hammock.

Pefect for my eno hammock
Great little camping fly. Works great for my eno hammock without costing an arm and a leg.

Very good in downpours
This is a very good rain fly. I've even experienced it in a downpour and it held up very well. It does take a bit of learning to figure out how to get it hung and stable. Once you get the hang of it, then it gets easier to put up and take down each time. It's pretty durable and definitely waterproof. It has decent instructions too. It's decently sized and can fit a small 2 person tent underneath it. It can also double as a water proof cover if you don't hang it in the trees, just like you would use a standard tarp for.

I picked this up for hammock camping!
I didn't find anything about this tarp that I dislike! The stuff sack fit everything inside. The spreader bar to keep the sides out away from your hammock and a really light! Good deal to me, is someone paid attention to detail and the tent stakes are ultra light along with the spreader bar! They didn't give you those cheap bent aluminum bars. The tarp is self is waterproof, and double stitched and the corners have elastic and clips so if you wanted to close two corners you can fold them over and close them up. When I first saw the price I was like $60 for a tarp, that's silly expensive, but after seeing what you actually get it's worth it! I rolled this out in my living room to look it over before deciding how to write up this review. With this tarp I can set this up over my hammock and stealth camp, or use it as a lean-to, or small pup tent shelter. So I really think this is going to be a good tarp for my outings! I have one that I picked up years ago that cost less, but that isn't anywhere near as good as what this tarp is capable of- so I'll likely trade that rain fly away and use this over my Hennessey hammock for stealth camping! The real challenge these days if finding trees that are safe enough to put up a hammock since the emerald ash beetles locally have destroyed most of the ash trees around my area here in Northeastern PA. I'm sure I'll find some place safe to camp this year and get out soon! So I love this tarp! I'm giving this a five out of five star rating! Thank you! -Mike
