I bought this Bluetooth CoolStream wireless speaker for use at my office so that I could enjoy some of my stored I-Tunes music from my I-Phone 5-C and to listen to a couple of radio Talk Show Podcasts. I was first attracted to the larger size of the speaker compared to others in its price range, knowing that a bigger volume speaker enclosure is essential for delivering higher quality sound. As it turns out I was not wrong. Music sounds open and pretty detailed from the mid to high frequency's. Bass performance is not bad for a speaker of this size. No, it will not rumble the walls or thump your chest. There is just enough bass reproduction between 80 Hz - 100 Hz to make music sound fairly full. Volume output is good and will fill a 15' x 15' room with sound. Reproduction of the human voice sounds full and natural. The speakerphone works great. There is no hiss or other noise emanating from this speaker. Battery life is great. I let it play for 5 hours at half volume and it was still going strong. Great product and great value!

Crisp and clear sounds, great options like blue tooth, and memory card adapter slot....All in all almost a perfect buy with the exception of volume....Not as loud as I thought it go or should I say not able to handle the the max volume of a cell phone....Sound becomes distorted but only at max. Otherwise great product!

The on off but tom broke, will not stay on, after it was used 5 times. I purchased the unit in April for a International trip. Since it is over 30 days Amazon will not accept it back as a return. It is not worth paying to return to Cool stream, so it is going into the garbage. Will never buy from this company again!!!

I bought this about 15 months ago and only used it a couple of times a month. After it sat the last month or so we tried to use it, but it wouldn't power up even after charging. Batteries can't be replaced. If you view this as a disposable item and a year is enough then it's worth 5 stars. I think it ought to last longer before heading to the landfill.

What did I expect from a portable speaker? I thought a little more than what I got, but that's what I get for thinking. No surround sound, but wasn't expecting that, but no bass at all. Forget about understanding much of what people are saying to you on a phone on the other end. Plays music ok, if you don't mind not having bass.

This is a nice speaker. It gets pretty loud with no distortion. For the size the base is very good. I have had no problems with connecting. I like the speakerphone feature for phone calls also. This is a good speaker for around the house and at work. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a portable bluetooth speaker with great sound and a reasonable price.Update 12 July 2014:Since purchasing this speaker I have had a few issues with it. First it stopped charging. I thought it was the charger so I contacted the company and they quickly sent me another one free of charge. Even with the new charger the speaker still did not charge so again I contacted the company and they asked me to send it back and they mailed me out another one free of charge besides shipping and handling. No more problems since then and the company had great customer service so do not hesitate to contact them. I'm still pleased with the speaker. I use it constantly and it works well.

Pretty impressed with this so far. Standing up fine to a harsh warehouse environment right now in these dog days of summer. Doesn't really have the full range for some of the more modern electronic music, but handles pretty much everything else with ease. A little more bass what be nice, but that could just be me. Sounds like they're pretty much getting all the bass they can out of the design. Not sure how they would pull it off as far as the engineering, but a "shuffle" feature when the speaker detects a card or reader would be nice. I haven't tried the voice/phone feature yet, but everything else has been as described and well worth the cost. Nice being able to just keep this at work and plug in my phone in the morning for a day of Thumbdrive/SD Card/Pandora/SoundCloud/ReverbNation... whatever listening. About 4-5 hours of after-charge life depending on volume setting seems about right, but there's only been one day when I didn't have a USB plug-in for power nearby, and I was too busy to track how long I got to listen to it (I turn it off if I leave the area for a while). If this lasts for a few a years, I would definitely consider buying a new one.

I really like this speaker. Most of the Bluetooth speakers you can get at the store do not have the features that come on this one. I like having the USB port for plugging in my jump drive full of songs. Also, I can plug in my iPod through the audio port. Of course my phone bluetooths to it seamlessly as well. The battery lasts for quite some time before it shuts off. It charges relatively fast too. This thing has great sound and is fairly loud. I put it in my dry box on my kayak and we had no problem hearing it while paddling the river. My other speakers just don't compare. The price is great. I would recommend.
