I’d liked the size of the jars and having several choices was enjoyable for our charcuterie board.

This was a fun little sampler. It reminds me of something you’d find in the food aisles at the TJX-type stores. It’s highly giftable. The jars looked nice on my charcuterie platter. All four of the flavors mix well with cheese and meat; these were our favorite combos:chili jam with a sharp white cheddarhoney with horseradish cheddarhoney with smoked swiss and prosciuttohoney with pepperoni and Wisconsin brick cheese (available on Amazon, FYI)onion jam with smoked goudaberries jam with prosciutto and smoked or horseradish cheddar

This variety set of four 1.3 oz jars of authentic Calabrian jams are a perfect size for sampling, gifting, or adding a pop of color to a cheese and charcuterie board. The varieties included add sweet and tangy flavors that complement the salty and savory flavors of cured meats and cheeses quite nicely, and they act as a palate cleanser between bites as well. These jams are cooked slowly which concentrates the flavor and lends a distinctive depth which the average grocery store jam doesn't compare to. My favorite of this sample pack was the sweet tropea red onion jam followed closely by the berries jam. I didn't care much for the chestnut honey or the chili jam, but you might like them more than I do since taste is a matter of individual preference. The jars had best by dates of 2025 and 2026, and all were intact and well-sealed upon arrival. My only complaint about this product is that the jars have no labels on them, so once removed from the package they come in you'll need to make a label yourself. That's a poor presentation for a company that touts its "unmistakable design with attention to detail", so I deducted a star for that. Despite that, I'd buy this again simply because they taste exceptionally good.

These spreads taste good and authentic and are an excellent addition to a charcuterie/cheese board. Lovely sweet, savory, and complex flavors that pair nicely with a variety of meats, veggies, crackers, breads, and cheeses. The overall amount is a little small, so this is probably best as a fun gift or to support a gathering of fewer than 6-8 people, and overall it's a lovely sweet and savory Italian spread.
