I didn't realize that kitchen timers didn't just work, until I purchased this one.... The first time we used it, it worked great - we set the time, it ticked, and then rang the bell when time was up. The next time, we had to finagle it to get it to tick. The next few times, it would tick, didn't move, and then didn't ring. I missed the cut off day to return this, or else it would have gone back. Since I bought it, I try to make it work, even though it's a pain to set it JUST right to get it to ring. You should probably pass on this timer...

Very cute and works well except that the alarm sound is very low. So you need to have the timer in the same room you are if you want to hear it.

The first time I tried it I could barely here the ringer, and the second and third time it didn't go off at all. A complete waste of time and money.

I use this timer for cooking. It is not worth $12. It only works if you set it for more than a half hour.

Not as loud as I was expecting. If you have it on your desk with y ou you will hear it. If its in another room, forget it.

Stopped after 1st use. I use timers in my salon... when bell goes off client goes to the sink. No bell... messed up routine

the sound is low, If you have hearing issue, This may not be the product for you

The bell on this is so faint , if it rings at all, that it is useless to me. I set it and go into the next room and I can hear nothing at all. It is hard to read as it is all dark as well.
