I bought two of these smaller sized units for miniature poodles. They stay inside at night, and this reduces accidents, damage to other furniture, etc. The first unit we put together was immaculate. I mean, it literally was perfect in every way, well-drilled, parts well-labelled, and the wood surface was just beautiful on every piece. We were very pleased with the final results and how quickly it was to assemble due to the easy to follow instructions. But the second unit was not so perfect. It was evidently created at a different location and there were a number of imperfections in the wood, the paint on the bars was a little sloppy with drips, etc. We were not nearly as pleased with this unit. Fortunately there are ways to turn the wood panels inside or outside to eliminate the less pleasant surfaces from being seen. The finish on the woodwork of the 2nd one also had some goopy stuff along the edges and apparently was not cleaned off prior to packaging, so we had issues with that mess on many of the panels and parts as well. But overall, once cleaned, the bad panels flipped to the inside so the nicer ones were on the outside, it, too, came out to a fairly decent looking end table that will fit in well with our living room furnishings. We have come to believe that nowadays most furniture is manufactured overseas without a consistent QC department, and that is where the problem lies. So with this unit it can be a hit or miss as to the quality. Our first one was perfect and gorgeous, but the 2nd unit lacked in quality in so many ways in comparison. We still gave this five stars based on the first unit and the ease of assembly and cleanliness. The 2nd unit would have been rated three stars for sloppiness, goop everywhere, improperly and unthorough staining, and other imperfections. These are heavy units, very stable, and hardware was excellent with plenty of spare parts to assemble. Instructions were simple to follow and very self-explanatory. Overall a good investment and no major damages. Also well packaged!

Pros: This crate is really made well great wood finish nice color looks great. it wasn't to difficult to assemble.Cons: the only downfall is the hinges and lock latch are silver wish they were black to match and made better they didn't line up. the screw holes we're not lined up.Overall it's a nice dog crate. good price

Looks great with the other furniture. Instructions were easy to follow. It seems durable and sturdy, my dog used to chew the bars but they barely look touched. The door latch isn’t exactly aligned with the connector, I have to lift the door up to pull the latch over but. It locks and it’s sturdy so not too much of an issue from me. Good product.

Kind of a pain to put together, took me a little over an hour, but very nice. Good size and sturdy. My latch came a little bent, but wasn’t hard to bend back.

Extremely happy with the purchase, high quality and dog proof. I have a mini labradoodle that would eat through every metal cage. It’s been a week and there is no damage at all, he actually likes sleeping in it. Bought a washable cushion mat from Walmart and it was a custom fit. Best price too!

I was able to put this together very easily. I am bad at putting things together. It took me 3 days, but I did it! Do not get discouraged. I am just old and slow. Very pretty piece of furniture. Very sturdy and my Pit bull loves it and can't break out-which is the main thing. Highly recommend for keeping a strong animal contained.

Visually, the crate looks fine. I have a senior dog that won't be trying to get out of it nor is he strong enough to. However I can't imagine putting a hyperactive dog or a puppy in this, it would for sure fall apart. The screws they give you are ill-fitting, we literally had to hammer them in and break them in order to get them to fit. They cant be screwed in past a certain point so all the pieces are wobbly. The instructions are no better. Took about 5 hours to get it together not only because of the screws but the instructions skip steps and go out of order randomly. I don't know if it's a print issue but it's incredibly frustrating. If you have your own screws and a screwdriver to make the holes bigger, maybe you would be fine, but why am I paying for something that has incorrect parts? This is obviously mass produced with little attention to continuity or quality. I was gonna return this, but after 5 hours of struggling, I don't think I'd even be able to take it apart. Garbage.

What a beautiful piece of furniture! It is well made and was easy to assemble. It offers plenty of room for my English Pointer mix. It’s definitely a compliment to our home and does not take away from the decor at all, despite it being a dog crate. It wipes clean with paper towel and a little spray. I only wish that I bought it sooner!
