It fits just like original filter & I finely stopped the alarm!! when I fitted the original replacement I could"nt stop the alarm beep

The flow rate does not seem as fast as with the official filter and it did feel a bit tight when screwing it in like it was cross threading but it works fine with no leaks.

Easy fit good value

The last time I paid Quooker for a replacement cold water filter - they last a year at most and we do not use that facility that much - it cost an extorionate £50. A year later they now want £70. Which is gouging pricing and which somebody should report.This replacement is just as well made, screws in just as easily, and does just the same job. The only caveat is that if the seller wants to avoid returns they need to amend the instructions to state that after fitting it might also be necessary to press the button on top of the Quooker main unit as well as on the filter housing. Otherwise the filtered water might not flow. Had that before with a filter from the manufacturer.The seller is piggy backing on the Quooker price, and really should not be. Four - not one - cold water filters for a Samsung fridge from Amazon are well under £20.

Good quality and cheaper than quicker brand

In August 2022, Quooker changed the filter fitting. This appears to mean older Quookers can use this Clearspring filter, but newer models cannot. It will screw in with the threads being somewhat tight, BUT, no water will flow through the cartridge, or at least I can't get any water to flow through it. I tried unscrewing and screwing back in, but no luck. I should have guessed when the installation instructions didn't match the Quooker as my filter holder does not have a button on top or a blue lever to turn off the water.UPDATE - Clearspring have confirmed this will not fit Quooker CUBE so buyer beware!So for me, an expensive mistake and a nice empty box for xmas presents.UPDATE 2... Clearspring have updated the description confirming this filter does NOT work with Qube. That doesn't help those who purchased one, fitted it and then found out it didn't work and gets filled with water making it non-refundable.

The company that originally does these cold water filters the product actually lasts entire year whereas I found this version to be a secondhand Mickey Mouse edition as it only lasted about five months

Not sure if this is better quality or same as the original Quooker filter. Water tastes similar.It needed a lot of flushing out before the water ran clear , it was full of charcoal. Easy to install.
