Cheap and useful
I was honestly shocked by the quality of these, considering similar mats cost $20+ at big stores. Getting a few for this cost is a steal and makes my quilting so much easier. I was using a plastic sheet beforehand, and my rotary cutter was constantly cutting up the cheap material. This works and doesn't have any issues! And the grippy stickers for the bottom side are a real plus

Work like high priced name brands
Very happy with my purchase. Although if you are expecting their non slip stick ons to work, you'll be disappointed. I use my own little pieces of sandpaper to prevent rulers slipping on my fabrics. That being said. I like this product.

Great set of quilting rulers
If you are a beginner quilter or have a friend just starting out quilting, these 4 rulers are a terrific and useful set to give as a gift to yourself or friend. I went years waiting to get a 12.5 x 12.5" square ruler for my quilting. Many quilt block patterns leave you with a 12.5" block and it is so handy to have this ruler to be sure that your block has finished to the right size. My favorite blocks to make ends at a 8.5" square so a 9.5" square ruler is great for me to check measurements with. The 6" square and the 4.5" square both help with the making of blocks and double checking sizes as you sew. These smaller rulers can also be used for making smaller projects like cardmaking to make sure your sizes measure up and that they are cut straight.Perhaps I am a lazy quilter, but after 56 years as a quilter, I'm not planning on changing my ways. I will cut fabrics as small as needing a 1/4" such as a 2.25" square, but I have no intention of cutting pieces that are into the 1/8" and 1/16". Too hard for my old eyes and to hard for me to sew accurately. So I was pleased to see the vertical green lines are set one 1/4" apart which makes it easy for me to see my measurement lines. For those of you that do cut fabric at the 1/8" or 7/8" the horizontal black lines can help you out. All four rulers show the 30, 45, 60 degree angles for cutting the fabrics on the diagonal.I love trying out new rulers, and seeing which ones help me work at my best when cutting fabric. When someone visits and expresses a desire to learn quilting I have extra supplies including rulers to share with them. My cleaning lady and her girls all sew and quilt as well, so I help them out with supplies. My first quilt that I started in 1968, rotary cutters, mats, and these types of rulers did not exist. I cut out a square of fabric, laid it on another piece of fabric to cut the next square, and so on. I literarly raided my mom's rag bag for pieces of fabrics and so my quilt ended up with thin crepe and upholstery fabric in one block and everything in between! I also never noticed how many stitches to the inch I was sewing on my mom's old Singer sewing machine that had originally been a treadle machine. It only sewed straight. I realized years later that most of the squares had been sewn together with a basting stitch and whatever color of thread that was in the machine. I finished the quilt 5 years after starting it and it was done in time to take to college. It had completely fallen apart in about 8 years. I have reasons that I want to have all possible things for quilting so my quilts will last awhile. I learned my leasson about how to cut squares. I found some of my old pieces in my sewing stuff one day and found that some of the squares were 1/2" bigger than the one it was sewn to. Any wonder why I love quilting rulers?I appreciate the opportunity to use these rulers. Thank you.
