Perfect Factory Fit with Extra Features.
I’ve used genuine Yamaha covers for years, and they rarely last more than 2 seasons in the Florida sun, but at a cost of nearly $300 a piece I decided it was time to try something new. I have two identical 2016 VX Cruisers, and left one uncovered in the photos for anyone who doubts that these covers fit our skis perfectly. Has perfect factory fitment, same factory quality and extra features the actual Yamaha covers do not have like the dash zipper opening area (in case you left something in your storage bin and need easy access to it) and extra straps you can attach under the ski for additional wind resistance. These are a fraction the cost of the OEM covers and honestly better than OEM. I will definitely be back when these eventually wear out!

Great cover!
This is the second product I’ve bought for them. Both have been a good value and an incredibly well made and designed cover. It fit our Yamaha VLX model perfectly.

At first glance, seems good so far
I was worried about the fit at first. But as long as you put it on in the correct order it fits great. Start at the middle at the handle bars and get the bars seated into the little handle bar pockets then pull over the front and then the rear. It seems to fit nicely and you shouldn’t have to break your back crawling under to snap the straps. There seems to be enough tension on them. We will see over time becauseiu I do so some reviews that mention transferring black marks onto the Waverunners. If that happens I’ll update the review.

Pay for what you get.
Failed today on first use on trailering ski. The main access zipper near the front of ski completely separated from the rest of the cover and then the wind caused it to rip even further down the length of the ski. I had to pull over and take it off. The inside of cover also is not soft, and I have from fore to stern several marks on my ski where the wind caused it to rub against the hull on my trip, most I believe can be buffed out with careful washing and a soft rotary buffer with light pressure. The ski is brand new with 0.1 hours on it and hasn't even been broken in yet, and has yet to be in the water. I will take some blame, because as my title says... You pay for what you get. Stay away from this product if you intend on trailering for an extended duration, or you intend on taking care of the exterior of your pwc.
