Incredible battery, wouldn't use anything else. Powers like a champ, perfect IO
Extremely reliable well-made product. I love this so much. It's the backbone of my Cinema rig, and I haven't looked back. It's pretty small, though it's not very light, but not to the point where it's too heavy, and it's pretty light for the power it can produce. I run a Lumix S5IIX recording through a Blackmagic video assist 12g 5 in. Pulling about 15 w I'd think, and this battery pushes about 4 hours. It's IO is perfect, truly perfect. My S5IIX with a dummy battery wants 8 volt DC, and the video assist wants 12 volt DC. Guess exactly what this battery has, alongside USB A and USB C? I'm very happy with this, and it's a great deal. It's very sturdy, and seems to hold the charge for a long time in standby too. Very easy to use, very well built. The information display is indispensable and slightly configurable depending on what information you want to see. I have it set to show me wattage usage and time remaining, though you can also switch it to a different page that shows voltage I think

Powerful and Versatile, Yet Heavy and Pricey
The SMALLRIG VB155 V Mount Battery offers robust performance with its 155Wh/10500mAh capacity, making it an excellent choice for long shooting days. I found it reliably powers my gear, including cameras, lights, and monitors, without any interruptions. The PD 65W USB-C port is a particularly useful feature, allowing for quick charging of devices like smartphones and laptops, which is a great addition for a modern videographer's toolkit. Design and Build Quality: This battery is solidly built, with a durable casing that withstands the rigors of field work. However, it is notably heavier than some other models I've used, which can be a drawback when trying to keep my camera setup light, especially on handheld rigs. Usability: The V-mount locks securely to compatible devices and has a reliable hold. I appreciated the clear display that shows remaining charge, which is crucial during shoots. However, the weight of the battery does add a significant load to my equipment, which might not be ideal for all users. Price Point: While the SMALLRIG VB155 is packed with features, its price point is on the higher side compared to competitors. Potential buyers should consider whether the additional cost is justified by their specific needs and usage patterns. Conclusion: The SMALLRIG VB155 V Mount Battery is a powerhouse that can be a game-changer for professional videographers who need reliable, extended power supply on the go. However, its weight and cost might not appeal to everyone, especially those looking for a more portable or budget-friendly option. I recommend it for those who need its high capacity and robust build, but suggest others might look at lighter alternatives.

Smallrig always delivers!
I have a few brands of V-Mounts and Smallrigs are just my favorite. They have a clean design, easy to read display and they just 'feel' better. This one is massive and I can run most of my shoots with just one of these.

Solid
I've tested a good number of V mount batteries from Amazon over the years, and while this one was a bit more pricey than the others I've found it to be well worthwhile. The screen with battery life readout is actually super helpful and usually one of these batteries will last me a full day filming 4k on my Sony a7siii.

A Perfect Battery
UPDATED REVIEW 2024-08-20: Smallrig let me use another battery to see if the power leakage was just an issue with the one I had. The new battery works perfectly just like their other batteries. I’m updating my review from 2 stars (which I originally had because reliability mattered a lot to me) to 5 stars. The battery is reliable and has multiple uses outside of just my video production. I now feel confident taking this on shoots and knowing I’m covered for the day. I highly recommend this battery! If you run into any issues (like I did), reach out to Smallrig. They have great customer service and truly want to make things right. One trick they taught me is that there is a way to potentially reset the battery to factory settings. You can repeatedly press the power button (like over 10 times) quickly or you can hold it for like 20 seconds (not sure which way worked for me, but I did try both and was able to get the broken battery to reset). This reset didn’t immediately fix my issue with the original battery, but after some tinkering, I was able to have it match the new one Smallrig sent. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love the ports, the amount of power, and how it feels and looks, but that’s where the praise ends. I’ve had this for almost 4 months now and when it’s not in use, it loses a lot of power over time unlike any of the other Smallrig batteries I own. After about a week of no use, it drops to 70ish percent and by the second week it’s about 50 percent, while every other vmount battery I own is close to 99% after 2 weeks and more. I have to constantly charge this battery and I end up having to leave it behind because it didn’t keep a charge and isn’t ready for a shoot. I wish I could like this battery, but it’s been a pain to rely on. I would stay away from this one from Smallrig and grab one of the 99wh ones. They need to go back to the drawing board with this 212wh one. It’s a swing and a miss: I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Great power delivery for the cost and size
I've used a lot of v-mount batteries over the years and this is the best by far. It has a number of charging options. The price was a great value. It seems really well made and is light while delivering a ton of power for my setup. The only reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5 is the d-tap port is looser than other batteries I have and I have a slight fear it might get knocked out in a run and gun situation. I'll tape it to be sure it stays in, but it's a minor issue for an otherwise great battery.

FX3 Monster
I love these batteries. Easy to fly with. They last me about 3 hours running a FX3 and Monitor. They charge my phone and laptop with ease. I love the screen on it as well

Perfect Battery – Reliable and Well Designed
This is another excellent product from SmallRig. The VB99 SE is compact, looks great, and works flawlessly. Plenty of output options with USB-C, D-Tap, USB-A, and DC ports, plus the OLED screen is super handy for monitoring power levels. Charges quickly and delivers consistent performance. SmallRig always makes quality gear, and this battery is no exception — reliable and well built. Plus great with my R5C Canon Camera.
