I needed an extra banetton basket, and I came across this set. Since it had a couple of other accessories that I wanted I decided to purchase. Items are of good quality for the money.

This set is so perfect for my daily sourdough bread making. The basket itself is incredibly sturdy, and the cotton lining as well as the cover wear very well. All the gadgets that it comes with are extremely useful and very well-made. This purchase was an amazingly great value.

This is a great kit. While I really like and have used everything in the kit, for me I would prefer if the handle on the flour sifter to have a longer handle.

Every new bread maker needs this set! Sourdough bread has a lower glycemic index which makes it our go to carbohydrate so we decided to take our stab at creating our own Sourdough. This kit had everything we needed for the proofing process as well as some extra tools to make some fancy designs (something we are going to experiment with more in the future). We all of the different accessories, this kit is an excellent value.

All of the items in this kit are serviceable but just 'okay'. If this is for someone with a potentially fleeting interest or you're on a budget but want to start baking bread, this might make sense; for all other scenarios youre getting what you pay for.- Bread basket: Nests inside my other 9" basket so seemingly not 9". Also, can't be sure but it appears that this might be painted - the color is very light and there's a slight sheen.- Scrapers: Nicest part of the kit. Good size, sturdy, but flexible; no complaints.- Whisk: Compared to most this is much shorter so it makes a good tool for the kids. It's also one of the few with a wood handle. That said I prefer the longer wood handled ones. This has too many crevices in the rolled metal and attachments that can collect crud or rust. The short handle limits your leverage for moving heavy and sticky dough. It being metal everything seems to stick more and it stores hand heat so overall switching to bare hands on the dough in between stirring seems to be messier and poor results.- Misc tools: everything just okay. Nothing identifiably worse, but compared to my tool version they're just flimsier. Of note, my main tools are nothing fancy (eg under ten dollars for a thermometer from Taylor and under 5 for stuff from oxo or norpro)

My granddaughter wanted me to help her with her breadmaking. I started looking for a good, complete kit, and found this one at a great price. It has everything we need for her to be successful. The banneton with liner will help shape her loaves. For anyone who does not know how those work, the lightly floured liner goes into the basket, which is made with spirals. When the dough rises and you turn it out for baking, the part of the bread that was in the basket, now the top, has a nice spiral design. You can then use the lame (handle with razor blade) to slice designs into the bread top, easy ones or very fancy, decorative ones. The Danish dough hook is wonderful for mixing ANY sticky or thick batter, and works a treat when mixing bread dough. But I use it for many other doughs in the kitchen. The plastic scraper makes sure you get all of the dough in the bowl, so none is wasted. And again, this versatile tool is great for scraping anything out of any bowl and getting it all! The bench scraper is used to slide under the edge of the dough and flip it over, when starting your kneading process. There is also a foldable digital thermometer and a powdered sugar shaker, both of which are versatile tools to have. This is a very complete kit, with all the pieces being sturdy, durable, and easy to clean. We are going to have a lot of fun making our bread. This kit would make a great gift for any baker, whether a newbie or an old hand. I recommend it without hesitation. Mmmmm. I can smell that fresh baked bread already--someone hand me the butter for it, please. Oink! Oink! Love fresh hot bread with butter!

This bread set is amazing! It comes with everything you need to make the perfect bread! The thermometer works very good and the whisk is very odd but it works well! It comes with additional blades so that you can make different designs with your bread! Very nice set!
