Great sound.
I'm very happy with this purchase. The set-up was easier then I expected. My record albums are 60 to 40 yrs old and the sound is still amazing.

PROBLEMATIC!
There seems to be a big problem with this turntable. I've seen many comments on different forums from others having the same problem. There is constant skipping and jumping when I try to play an album. I assume there is a tonearm pressure/weight issue but it is not adjustable so looks like AT has a big dud here. I purchased an elliptical stylus to see if it would help, it did not. I only played it a few times before I realized it was the product that was at fault, and I was just past my window to return on Amazon. Audio Technica will do nothing more than have you pay shipping to send it back to them and look at it. I'm pretty sure they've had more than one complaint and they are not addressing the issue. They should take this back, period! Very unhappy with their customer service, or lack of. Would not recommend or buy another AT product. ***I have had this about 2 months. Played it about 4 times.

Very Nice
It's lightweight but does an excellent job. I would buy another one.

Great sound - attractive player
My son begged to have this particular player for his 21st birthday. He's obsessed with it and very happy with the sound.

Adequate for Beginners
It's adequate. If you are on a budget or just want to get a taste for vinyl, this will do. It feels cheaply made. The plinth is hollow. Everything is a light plastic. It's super easy to set up and use and is probably great for beginners. I was a beginner but the stock stylus is not much, if any, better than streaming. The lack of counterweight became noticeable to me, someone who didn't know why that's even necessary. I upgraded quickly to a Fluance. The quality improvement is instantly recognizable.

A very nice turntable for the price.
I'm very satisfied with this player so far, but reading the other reviews, I'm a little nervous. For me, great sound, smooth, sleek appearance, simple, straight forward operation, a pro item for the money. As of this moment, I would highly recommend. So much better than the little suitcase players that flooded the market
