This saved our trip
We used them on a snow-covered mountain. With hiking shoes that weren't suitable for ice, they were extremely useful and saved our day. Highly recommended. Very durable, worth it.

Exceeded my expectations.
I bought these cleats for several icy, snowy and muddy hikes in the Sierras and these exceeded my expectations in every way. I am a very large athletic guy (300lbs, size 13 boots) and an avid hiker. I put a beating on my trail footwear and my hikes with these were no exception. After putting some good mileage on these cleats, I am blown away on how well they perform and held up to my abuse. They provide excellent traction in mud, snow and ice, they don’t get caked up with ice or mud and most importantly, they never once slid off of my boots. They simply stay where I put them and do what they’re supposed to do.

Great Value
My cousin recommended these cleats and I’m glad we followed her recommendation. After a short learning curve attaching the cleats to our boots was relatively easy. The cleats stayed attached to our boots without issues. We walked on packed snow, ice, wooden surfaces, and briefly concrete. The cleats securely grabbed the snow, ice, and wood surfaces to provide excellent traction. Walking on a surface like concrete was more comfortable and non- slip than I expected and the cleats did not bend or deform (though we do not recommend walking on impenetrable surfaces for more than a few steps- they are not designed for this use over long periods). Although we used them for perhaps 4 hours so far, I certainly would recommend giving them a try. We purchased the green version so we could look down and quickly see that they remained securely attached to our boots. We did not use the across-arch holding straps provided with the cleats as they did not seem to be necessary in our case. But I am glad to have the straps just in case they become necessary when using them on different boots. The sizing guide in the picture gallery with this item was spot on. My XL size fit my size 12 boots winter boots perfectly and the size L fit my wife’s size 10 boots perfectly as well. Select size based on boot type/design as indicated in the sizing guide.

Seems as good as Kahtoola Microspikes
When my Kahtoola microspikes went missing, I discovered there are now other brands out there so I decided to try them. I bought a pair of these and also a virtually identical product from Cimkiz. Then I found my old Kahtoola microspikes. If I didn't look carefully for the brand labels when I put them on, I can't tell the three of them apart. They all work fine--far better than Snow Trax, which always fall off my shoes when I go up hill, exactly when I need them most. These stay on and they allow me to walk with confidence across icy sheets. I guess if I were a real mountaineer, I would want more substantial crampons; but these are great for winter hikes on trails where the ice is packed down.None of these three brands would be good on an icy sidewalk. They're overkill--the spikes are much too substantial. These are really only useful on ice or on ground where the spike can dig in.This particular brand has an extra velcro strap that you can attach it even more securely to your foot. I didn't bother with it, and it never once even came loose, so it seems like you don't need it.The big advantage of these and the Cimkiz version over the Kahtoola microspikes is that they're half the price.

Best in class
Would recommend this over any other ice cleats. I tried a couple of others but this one is the best.

Some aspects good, some not.
First, I purchased 2 pr of these. One for another household member, (L) one XL for myself. They do quite well for what they are intended. Keeping you from slipping. In fact, for that reason, I would hate to not have them. In one sense, that capacity to meet my needs should deserve 5 stars, until I say another brief word.I am a big guy, and I find it rather amazing that these cleats, while on inspection, appear plenty heavy, after several hours of being on them, a least a couple of the cleats, had already starting bending a bit. Admitedly not alot, but I cannot help but wonder whether they will have a tendency to continue to bend even more, once they have already started to bend slightly. Now, I am unaware as to whether I just happened to get a pair that is a bit less, 'tempered,' so is somehow more inclined to bend, or whether this is standard wear for them. While I love the traction, I simply cannot imagine why this could happen. I have just used them for conventional work on concrete, and on a blacktop surface,, in clearing and removing snow, so I do not feel that I abused them in any way. If I had, I would admit it, and own up to it. I have not jumped or anything with them on, which, I assume, would constitute abuse. In fact, this happened after having worn them for just a matter of fewer than 2 hours, on my initial wearing. Out of concern, I then wrote to the representatives on the format that is provided by Amazon. I explained it in as detailed of fashion as allowed (Word count limitation) They have not even bothered to respond to me, so apparently, this does not seem to be a high priority to them. I even waited for over 2+ weeks, before writing this review, feeling that due to the holiday, in fairness, they may need some extra time in responding. I do notice that some companies did sell them on the subscription plan, and given my experience, I have started wondering if that is why they sell a subscription service for them. Again, the product itself is worth 5 stars-IF it doesn't bend. For me, the structural integrity that allows some of the cleats to bend, (even slightly) is not 5 star quality. I would contend that that is more like 3, to my thinking. And, the fact that they have not even bother to answer after almost 3 weeks, is 1 star or less, in my opinion. I am a senior in age, and am really quite tech challenged, or I would attempt to post a photo.

Rubber is tough
The grip of the metal is great. But size is far too small. XL cannot fit a size 45 pair of boots. Quite disappointing

Buen producto
Los usé en un viaje a Islandia y me funcionaron bastante bien, no son tan pesados. Son complicados de poner, pero es cuestión de práctica.
