Note that the NOIR won't render daylight the same since the IR will affect the CCD (sensor). So if for daylight - don't get the NOIR. If for night (or partly night) get the NOIR. Just note the NOIR won't look the same unless you re-install the IR filter. You can web-search for image differences.

Can the cable be removed so I can use a pi zero cable?

The issue is with the Pi Zero which requires a special end on the cable where it connects to the Pi Zero. The camera end of the cable is the same for all the Pi cameras. If you have a camera cable for the Pi Zero, the camera end should fit this camera fine.

Im just seeing black when using in low light conditions. Are there any adjustments that need to be made?

I have not had much success with very low light using the Noir camera. To do so would require adding an external IR light source. You can get a little extra sensitivity by increasing thr iso in your code. It defaults to 200 but you can increase it to about 1600 to add about 3 stops of exposure. Down side is that higher iso values add noise.

Great Product promptly delivered in original OEM packaging

Good enough for Octoprint setup, though you might want to add IR Illumination, else would need to tweak the setting for a sharp image or output.Replaced this with the earlier NOIR setup that i had.Good value for the price.Be careful to check while receiving that its in its original packaging, as this vendor promptly send it across. A few other vendors send it in open nonstatic package and it might have gone bad due to static damage.Also handle this with standard static precaution.It comes with a short flex 15pin cable which might not be sufficient with your requirement.

The camera quality is very good but u need to adjust the lens with the help of tweezers. There is nowhere mentioned that it has adjustable focus. So I thought it was waste in the beginning. But my friend helped me in adjusting the focus. Even the resolution is very good.
