Bought these for two windows where the sun hits all day and this completely blocks the sun. The rooms were very hot and now you don’t feel the heat coming in. I recommend it!

I bought one of these blackout curtains this week & it worked so well that I've already purchased another three curtains for other windows. Easy to install (I cut an inch or two larger than window size so there would be an overlap for total darkness), affordable, removeable, and unnoticeable under my drapes. I love the fact they are easy to remove when I want light. I needed more tape & contacted the company who promptly sent me another 40 squares at no charge.

I used to get irritated when I would go to bed because of all the light that was coming into my window from the back porch and then when the sun came up. I couldn't get to sleep or stay asleep. I decided to buy these curtains and I am SO happy that I did. There is absolutely NO light coming through the window AT all, and my bedroom is Pitch BLACK, even in the middle of the day when the sun is shining right on my window.I fall asleep quicker, and I stay asleep. The self stick velcro is super sticky and very strong. And if you have to take them off to situate them differently, it won't tear them.The Picture included is of them in my window and is during the middle of the day. Yes, I know I cut them crooked, but it doesn't matter. These Honestly WORK! I plan on buying more of these and sending some to my son as well. If anyone is looking for these kind of Blackout curtains/blinds, these are a Must have! You won't regret it. 🙂

I did cut them too small, but that was my fault. Besides this, it is COMPLETELY blackout. The Velcro does come off, and has to be put back on again. But, it is amazing! Definitely worth the money!!

Pretty nice product. I hung them up in my South and West facing windows to keep the sun from heating up my apartment. Material quality is good, pretty easy to cut to size, stick and hang up pretty well.My only suggestion would be to include light or faint gridlines on the back to make measurements and cutting easier!

My husband works nights and this blocks out the sunlight perfectly for him. The Velcro that comes with it works well even after months of use. We can easily peel it back when not needed.

The title say it all really. As blackout curtains it’s great. But to work the curtain needs to stick to the frame around your window to function.It comes with velcro pads that have a velcro side and an adhesive side along with instructions that are close to an exact copy of ‘command strips’.I cleaned my wall, let it dry, and carefully applied each pad and then stuck the curtain on the other side. In theory it’s great because you can still take the curtain down by disconnecting the velcro, then re-connecting at night when you need the room dark.In practice, it’s awful. The curtain itself resists adhesives. So the pads, which are already a very weak adhesive, can’t *grip* it to hold it up.Nor can they grip a wall it seems.Every day the curtain flops off my wall and I have to stick it up again.I’ve even tried adding things like double-sided tape all around it to help the pads. But tape can’t stick to this curtain either.So I tried taping all around with normal tape reasoning that maybe only the reflective side is anti-adhesive. Nope. The black side won’t let anything stick either.Maybe if I used synplex nails and nailed the curtain to the wall it would stay, but that involves hammering a dozen nails in my wall, an action this product is meant to AVOID.All in all, it’s a nice idea, but the product’s own design utterly defeats its intended purpose. Don’t buy this product. At least not from this company, maybe some other manufacturer understands you can’t use non-stick pan coating on a curtain that requires adhesive to stay in place. But this one sure doesn’t.With that in mind, I’d give it zero stars if I could.

The product photos show the reverse side as White. It's actually very highly reflective silver, like mylar. It's ugly to look at, and is blinding in the sun. Your neighbors will hate you, HOA's will likely fine you, and your home will Be reminiscent of the 1990s.If none of that applies to you– this is great! It is lightweight and thin to fold, no light bleeds through, it does reflect heat if you have the reflective side right up against the window. Use some rubbing alcohol to clean the plastic trim of your windows and also on the product where you'll apply the adhesive Velcro pads and they'll stick for life.
