An in-depth and comprehensive intro to martial arts – highly recommend!
Great introduction to various martial arts — from wrestling to Shaolin kung fu! This book is a collection of many books and is extremely detailed and well-written, with chapters that truly express the essence, mindset, and vibe of each martial art. I learned about so many different techniques, the cultural history, the cultural impact, and depth of each martial art, and different philosophies about fighting. Extremely detailed and well-written with care. Highly recommend!

fundamentals of each martial art so clearly
This book offers an incredibly detailed look into not just one or two, but ten different martial arts disciplines, making it a goldmine for anyone wanting a holistic understanding of MMA. Each section breaks down the fundamentals of each martial art so clearly that I found myself picking up new techniques after every chapter. The best part is filled with illustrations that helped me visualize moves and techniques in a way that made it much easier to follow, especially as a beginner.

Comprehensive
I've always been genuinely interested in learning about martial arts since I first started watching Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee as a child. However, I found it tedious to research them one by one. The answer is this bundle! This set has everything from cultural backgrounds to histories, techniques, etcetera. Now all I need is an actual instructor, lol!

Great work
Oh this is wonderful. I didn't think there was a book on boxing. It just goes to show you can learn anything in a book like the reading rainbow.

great bundle of books
I got these books as I want to loose weight. the key to loose weight is to be active and exercise. however, I am not a gym person and would just want to stay at home and do my exercises. the books all describe the basics of their particular martial arts (and boxing). some focus on the arms (tai chi is an example) while most focus on foot work (muay thai and boxing are great examples). just doing the basics is enough for me (at my age). overall satisfied with my purchase. still reading the rest of the books though as I am still looking for the particular martial art to suit my exercise preference; although I am leaning towards boxing lately. highly recommended.
