Replacement For SCION XB 2004-2006, Rear Windshield Wiper Back Arm Blade Set - OTUAYAUTO Factory OEM Style

If you want a rear wiper assembly (which includes the wiper blade AND the assembly that attaches the blade to the motor) buy this one. I learned this lesson because I first bought the 3-piece blade set from GoodYear, and quickly learned that the rear wiper blade has the wrong fitting (it doesn't fit the arm for my 2006 Scion xB rear window wiper). Numerous emails to the GoodYear vendor (both on Amazon and direct to the vendor) were ignored, so I ordered this one, and was thrilled to receive it quickly, and to find that it is an exact replacement for my 2006 Scion xB rear wiper blade AND the arm it attaches to. I happily recommend this product for your 2006 Scion xB rear window wiper.

This wiper arm does not have a serrated bushing, the busing is perfectly smooth and the wiper arm I removed has serration as the wiper post has serration as well. I had to cut my old arm off because it was corroded on, but I cleaned it up, put a little anti-seize on the shaft and this went on fine. Granted since there are no teeth to mesh from the bushing to the wiper motor shaft you have to hold the wiper arm in position. Once I secured down the nut the arm worked perfectly and the spring tension is much more then the factory arm that had worn off and wasn't clearing the window.If your wiper is leaving parts of the window untouched its the spring tension that isn't adjustable, so replacement is the only way I know to solve this problem which is just a worn out wiper arm. This arm has much better spring tension and the blade scrapes and clears the window perfectly.. For a fraction of a Toyota replacement this works for me just fine. It was only a few $$$ more then just the replacement blade from Toyota.

My old rear wiper had been streaking for ages. Trying to find a rear wiper blade refill for the Scion xB is always an issue. I have typically resorted to just pulling a blade from a larger arm and forcing it in here. Well, though it might be hard to find just a blade refill, this arm is a perfect replacement for the entire original unit. As stated elsewhere, the grommet area you slide onto the motorized peg is smooth, and not notched. That doesn't seem to make an issue though. It works great and gets the job done. I am just mad the days of 99 cent refill blades are gone.

I needed a replacement rear wiper arm assembly for my 2005 Scion XB. I first went to the Toyota parts department at a local dealer. What a joke! It was an absurd price. I bought this instead. It was easy to install and works as expected. The only unknown factor at this point is the durability. If it doesn't last for a reasonable length of time, I will come back and downgrade the rating.

Second time I've purchased this. Last time was about 5 years ago. It's pretty easy to install. You just need a 10 mm socket wrench. I had to use lubricant to remove the old one since it was older. Good deal. Much better than paying over priced part at the dealer.

This replacement rear wiper assembly was just what the doctor ordered for my ‘05 Scion xB...and thrilled I was able to save a lot of $ by not having to buy directly from Toyota since they’re usually overpriced as it is.Using the included directions and YouTube videos, it was very easy to remove the old wiper arm and install the new one. Works perfectly and actually cleans the glass in both directions unlike the OEM wiper blade.In short, VERY happy with this purchase!!

Works perfectly on my 2006 Scion xB. 2 minute swap (plastic cover + 1 nut), nice and silent wiping. Spring is very stiff, so it makes good contact onto the glass (just watch out for the snapback when you lower it to the rear windshield).

Never able to find replacement blade. Toyota dealer crazy expensive. Fit perfectly and works properly. Thank you Amazon and Otuayauto.

Looked good until I tried to out it on, there was a bunch of plastic wrapping on the arm and when I tried to take it off , it snapped the plastic clip right off, now I got a wiper with no clip covering the bolt.

Wow! Very good quality for such an inexpensive part. Super easy to install with just one night rather than trying to get a wiper on there without breaking the arm. Just super.
