Fairly easy to put together as I did 95% myself. Had to get my husband to help with the last bit. Took about hour. It's very heavy and seems well made. Storm came in 2 days later and knocked it down. Never busted. The goal is very top heavy. We added water to the base and added another 60lbs of sand in a bag on top of base and wind still knocked it down. We will eventually just putting the pole into the ground with quikcrete. Once that's done, it'll be perfect for the boys.

Balance. Put it together, it legitimately took 2 people. , but I’m not handy, so may have been me. Needs more weight to balance it. Guess I should have known. But a couple blustery California days showed me I need bricks to keep upright. Plus, does not adjust easily. Need to really squeeze to make it higher..

Got this for my kids for Christmas, and they've been using it almost everyday since then. It was pretty easy to put together, although a second set of hands was helpful, because it starts to get a bit heavy. The height adjustability is great, although younger kids will need an adult to do it. The included bag that you can fill with sand or, as I did, pea gravel, is a really nice way to make it easier to move around, because I put some water in the base and then have the bag of rocks and it won't tip over, but makes it easy to just remove the bag and roll it where you need to.
