Not only does this film add privacy and beauty to windows in the daytime, but at night the texture turns outside lights into gorgeous rainbow circles that shine into the rooms. The leafy design is beautiful alone, and also works well paired with "stained glass" film, as shown in the photos.If your window pane is wider than the film, I would recommend applying two film sections from the center of the window for a balanced, professional appearance.It was also helpful to cut each section of film 1/2" larger than needed, to be sure of complete coverage. Trimming the edges after applying the film is very easy.Very happy with the finished results.

It can be used on windows but other places as well. It looks very nice, reflects the light on a window. It can easily be taken off or put on, does not leave a trace. I'm using it on a valuable wooden table to protect the table with it. It's perfect. It sticks to it, but I could take it off when I wish. In other words, it does what it claims to do because it looks nice, but since the use is versatile, it worth buying it.. I recommend. Pay attention to the size though. For me, I didn't order it long enough.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the daisies. I needed privacy, but did not want to sacrifice natural light for 2 areas of my finished basement. 1) the window over my sink (that faces the street), and 2) my back door (that faces my neighbor).This is a really beautiful privacy film. THE PICTURES DON’T DO JUSTICE. The pictures don’t pick up the light, the vibrancy and rainbows created when the sun shines through.At nighttime, you cannot see in from the outside (see my video at night). I don’t have a video for the daytime, but believe me when I say you cannot see in either—it gives the same privacy effect day OR night.The film comes with a small pump sprayer (for your soap and water), a razor blade for trimming/edging, a flat blade to smooth out air/water bubbles and step by step instructions.The film itself was very easy to put on:1) A good cleaning of the window prior to will ensure the maximum light to pass through and for the film to stick on as best as possible to.2) Don’t skimp on the soap and water, this water/soap combo is what helps the film to cling and stick to when dried.3) In addition, use the flat blade to smooth out any air/water bubbles!4) The more challenging part was measuring to fit your window. If you are a little short, just cut a smaller amount and fill it in where you need to. It’s VERY forgiving and not noticeable at all. OR purposely cut larger than your window measurements and trim around the window pane with the razor blade after the film is in place.5) For first timers, be mindful that this film has a peel off, and so after measuring—this peel off side is where I was able to use a permanent marker to draw where to cut (measure, mark and cut like Christmas wrapping). The peel off with the markings come right off (just like contact paper for lining drawers).

This is a nice product, I was surprised that it adheres via soapy water but it does and that makes it fairly easy You just basically get it wet and put it up after cutting it to the correct dimensions of course and then it just dries and stays there. Also I'm using it in a room where there is a shower and it continuously gets wet because the window is basically in the shower sort of, and despite getting consistently wet it has not begun to peel off or anything like that so if you were wondering if it's water resistant I would say that it is.

only 4 stars because I wasn't able to get it to stick to the window. Very possible user error. This vinyl is so thick and easy to work with that I was able to use packing tape to secure to window and you can't even tell its taped. I love this product the privacy when installed is very good. when it is dark outside and you have lights on inside you can see thru the tiniest bit. If you have a porch light on outside and lights on inside it is virtually impossible to see inside. I installed a different pattern in my dining room because I didn't want to look at a plain wall (I have two windows taking up the entire one wall of my dining room). It is beautiful and the prism shows up inside. This particular patter I have on my entry wall door (as the previous owner put a exterior door in with a large window, zero privacy) As long as I have my front porch light on I feel that I have sufficient privacy.

So it took me a good hour and a half to do this and it definitely wasn’t my idea of a good time but it came out nice. I live in a hot state and even with the AC, you don’t want the sun beating down on you. This solves that problem and it’s so pretty it puts me in a good mood. Time will tell if it stays on … who knows

This items is so pretty and goes up VERY easily. The seller includes a small tool to get the air bubbles out, but I prefer to use my shower’s squeegee. Works like a charm. I also use Windex instead of water and everything goes on well and cleans up nicely. If you are going to do a lot of windows, I suggest a cutting mat, cutting wheel, and sturdy straight edge. Simple way to make a space more private and decorative.

This film is a really beautiful way to get some privacy while still letting light into your room. It is super easy to apply and is an absolutely stunning simple way to upgrade your room. My only complaint is it doesn’t look exactly like the picture that i saw on amazon, but it still is gorgeous!
