Great case at a great price.Have been looking for a small top case for my CB1100. Don't need to hold helmets or clothing. Just wanted a way to carry emergency tools and a flat repair kit. Found this 25l case at a great price and ordered it. I am so glad I did! I love the size and the quality of this product. Mounting to my existing rear carrier was easy with the included adapter plate and hardware. Case cover locks and the case locks to the adapter plate with 2 keys. Very easy to push a button and slide the case off the mount when not needed. This top box doesn't look like spaceship landed on my bike's butt.

Overall, yes, it’s good kit.Cons:1. There was one review that mentions sharp edges on the mounting plate - I concur it’s a bit clean cut, but not horrible.2. The size just fits one helmet and I thought it would do 2. Maybe it will if it’s a smaller helmet, but not modular. Still happy as the size visually, is just about right.3. Backrest. Not a bad thing as it wasn’t promised with one, but it does need a small cushion of some sort.Pros:1. Fit and finish is pretty good.2. Seals well, and I’m sure it’s pretty much waterproof - at the very least, will keep 99.5% or more of any rain etc out.3. Connect-ability - this is a great bonus & will allow me to pack on top with some added strap/bungees.4. Mounting to a Versys x300 was a breeze. How? Remove the plate screws that come with the bikes rear plate, and swapping them for the longer ones that come with this box, then use the self locking nuts and mount through the existing holes /positions in the Versys plate. Done - 15mins.5. Locks work to keep it attached tightly to the bike, and to help seal the lid. Keys slip in and out and turn with no issues.6. Better than the Givi 35 Imo, as it’s bigger and seems like it will take a drop and still be attached… also, it’s NOT PLASTIC… it’s aluminum, but has a coating that may be a plastic or paint 🤷‍♂️.So then, overall, it’s a big ol recommend.If you need one - get it.

The box and mount seem to be built well and the finish is nice. Great value but corners needed to be cut. The box has an aluminum plate at bottom for mounting and all the exposed edges were as sharp as knives. You might want to buy a deburring tool and some bandaids to address this issue. I cut myself twice in the process. We will see how it holds up. The plastic bushing mounts have already taken some damage from those sharp edges and I have no idea how to buy any replacement parts if they break or wear out. Of course the whole box is cheaper than the spare parts in the name brand boxes so what should I expect. Getting it mounted on the Transalp was not too bad with a bit of drilling and milling. Glad I bought one with a wide mounting plate.

I did not expect much for this price, but this top box is really great! Mine (45L) is made of aluminum (not plastic like other reviewers suggested). The quality is excellent, I have no complains at all. I was able to mount it to BMW's oem rack. It only took me 10 minutes to drill 2 extra holes in the plate that comes with the box so I could reuse already existing mounting points on my bike's rack. I would not suggest it if you're going to do heavy off-roading and drop the bike often, but for street riding - it' great!

This top case is plastic, not aluminum. Size is 18" lg x 16" wd x 14" deep. I paid $128 and decided to keep it. Get what you pay for.

Very nice top case. It does fit full face helmet inside, very sturdy. I haven't tried it waterproof capabilities, but I'm sure it will be fine. price is good.

This top case is seriously awesome. I discovered that my other top case was broken two days before I was going to go to Mexico for a month long motorcycle trip. I ordered this and it was delivered the next day and I installed that night. It worked flawlessly through the Mexico trip, and that was six months ago. I still use this top case daily.
