Purchased this for my college aged son and he absolutely loves it. It is a classic design that can be dressed up with a suit or can be casual with jeans. It’s lightweight, but doesn’t look it. The leather strap is beautiful. It’s an excellent time piece that is a great value, looks classy and Bulova is a well made watch brand thats been around for years. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend to others.

Vintage NYC meets modern minimalism, which fits Bulova’s design identity. Albeit uninspiring to critics of this brand, it’s ideal for me because I value versatility. It’s formal AND casual, making it the definition of an “essential” piece. It’s a tad small but that’s perfect for my 6.25in wrist.I enjoy the strap despite others’ reviews. The genuine leather feels solid and the alligator embroidering is fine. The polished buckle looks so sharp, and the brushed fork emblem brings the design together with the brushed dial.Consider me impressed! After sporting it, I’d pay retail if that says anything about the quality/value.

I wanted a rectangular watch in my collection but I didn't want a Cartier copycat. This Bulova tank is unique in its own right with its simple and clean dial. I think they could've done away with the date window but at least it's in the 6 o'clock position making it look cleaner and symmetrical. The size is just right for me, not too big and not too small. The strap is good for its price range. Bulova also has the automatic, open-heart tank watch but it's thicker and almost three time the price. And since I won't be wearing this dress watch every single day, I didn't want another watch that I have to wind once a week with my other mechanical watches. Overall, this is a really nice budget watch from a brand with a heritage.

Very nice, thin, and good looking piece

I've worn Bulovas for as long as I can remember. Words that come to me about Bulova and this watch:Automatic, accurate, elegant, dependable, stylish, and choices galore.I love the feel and "old school" appearance, Art Deco-ish rectangular dial and depth. I just bought it and so far, all of my others are languishing in my bureau.I have only one complaint -- this model lacks a stainless steel bracelet. Bummer. I would feel giddy if I were wrong and a bracelet can be substituted for the leather strap. Don't we love those high-class problems? I would have to say 'yes.'

To be honest, one of my favorite ones. It is my only rectangular watch, looks great, elegant, yet it also goes well with jeans and sneakers, light weight, accurate, thin with leather band, and it is the right size. I can't see how some reviewers complain of this piece being a "women" size. This one is a handsome time piece, with a historic horologic name, if you are thinking about it, pull the trigger and wear it with pride.
