Great fuel isolating valve.
Bought and fitted for a friend, to replace an old rusted valve which was seized. Easy to fit and from past experience wont have any problems with corrosion. Great valve for minimal cost.

PERFECT OIL CONTROL VALVE
It’s easy to determine when oil is either ON or OFF which is what you need. Distinctive operation. Far superior to the original anti clockwise rotational valve. Quite simply screws into pre-existing fittings on the tank . Only replace valve when tank is EMPTY !!

Genuine Teddington valve
Pleased to see it is a genuine Teddington (British made?) valve and a direct replacement for my existing tank valve although the filter bowl design has changed slightly. It leaked at first from the cork washer under the bowl bolt but a bit of blue sealant soon fixed that.

are they all standard?
so straightforward fittings i guess are standard would be good to suggest and isolating valve with a duplicate fitting for tanks that run straight into the bowl to isolate changing the whole bowl assembly.

Leaky bowl
The one bit I assumed would be ok because it says tested on the bowl is now leaking slowly. All my joints are ok. Going to try tightening up the bolt at the bottom. So check the bowl before fitting, don't believe the tested bit. So i will have to get another one, before i can take this one off if the bolt tightening does not work. A bit later, the leak was between the bolt and washer, so i wound some of the ptfe tape between the 2 then tightened the bolt, currently not leaking But not too happy about that for a solution. Its still leaking, jusy a poor design, using a rubber gromet instead of proper washers. Not recomrnded at all. Going down to 1 star
