I wanted to make centerpieces for my son's Eagle Court of Honor. I saw this idea on Pinterest but with smaller canoes. These were the only ones I could find at a decent price point, and fortunately, they worked great. The whole troop, and especially my son, is big on doing 50 mile canoe trips, and so these made the perfect centerpieces for the event. Rustic but they held together fine, just what we wanted.

The S&S Worldwide Wooden Canoes (Pack of 6) arrived today to much excitement. They will be used for a "Mini Canoe Race" event during our local Canoe Weekend in May. We did not wish to organize a "Duck Race" as several are already sponsored throughout the year in the area. These canoes are the perfect size and will be used annually. Children attending can paint the paddles, attach a magnent and take home for use as a refrigerator magnets and remembrance of the races and time spent in our town! Exceptional quality for the cost.

It looks like an actual canoe, the way it is constructed. I'm thrilled and hope to buy more in the future.

Thaw canoes were for work colleagues. We gave all of our senior management team a canoe as we have been reading through “The Canoe Theory”. The canoes were a big hit.

Speedy shipping.Construction is very poor. Veneer peels off. Do not recommend.

We used these as a project in our homeschool co-op to accompany the book, Paddle to the Sea. The ideal would have been for the children to carve their own canoes, but they are only second-graders. Getting to sand and paint these, and then release them in our local creek, which does end up going through lake and locks like the one in the book was really fun!
