I originally hooked this up to a single sink, it had no issues, i then tried the shower and the sink, still no issues. Its plenty powerful to run a couple fixtures, I don't think it would do them at the same time, but one at a time works fine. Its 220v so running a heavy line for that is a must. It takes a LOT of power but only while the water is running. So far its kept up just fine. I eliminated a 30 gal tank in my cabin now.

Upon opening the box (which was packaged well and quickly and safely), I immediately thought "there's no way that this tiny thing is going to output enough hot water." Well, I was wrong. I have no idea how they engineer these little things to be such monsters at continuously outputting hot water, but it's impressive. I have a 6,000+sq/ft 1800s Victorian farmhouse in the country and at the far side of the house (from the main, huge traditional hot water tank), the long run of hot water from the other side of the house just can't maintain temperature well enough at the tap in our sideroom extension, which has a kitchenette and functions as a playroom for our seven children. So although this huge tank "can" keep up, performance wise, I don't like having to wait over two minutes for the pipes to heat back up as the water runs needlessly down my drain before the sink finally has hot water running from it, etc. Call me impatient. Anyhow, I decided to add this into the mix and located it right inside a utility cabinet at the side of the run of kitchen base cabinets. Now, when I turn on the water, I have instant heat and man, do I mean instant (like less than 10 seconds, to the tap). Now my main tank no longer has to be burdened by supplying water to this portion of the house at all. Yet in the wall, I created a sort of hot-water supply switch, if you will, to allow me to later (if I so desire, for whatever possible reason), to switch to either system with the simple turn of a valve. Anyhow, that's probably useless for this review. Regarding this product, if you've already got 240V power in place and a cold-water supply line (which I did not), then installing it couldn't be easier. Once installed (and the directions are clear, although almost unnecessary as it's so straight forward - but then again, I'm a general contractor, so maybe I see things a bit differently), this thing really puts out the hot water. I can run the hot water continuously at the sink in the kitchenette at the same time the hot water is running in the 1/2 bath sink (which is attached to the same room), just around the corner. It just keeps going continuously without any sense that it's struggling - no dips, no slightly less hot moments - nothing. Setting your preferred temp is very easy too, as the touch-screen control is simple and straight forward (Hotter? Push up. Colder? Push down) Overall, I couldn't be happier with this little unit and therefore, gladly and highly, recommend it to others.

This is a great water heater and excellent for the price. I have a whole house one and this is comparable in quality. The only thing that will detail if it was worth it is if it lasts over time and usage. I will update this review if there are any issues.So far the heat produced from this is quick and gets hot quick. It's a great supplement to my water heater for additional hot water when needed. It also helps keep it from using the oil to heat the water. I don't use a ton of water so it's sufficient for my needs. You would need a larger one for broad applications.

Works well. Great for cabin or vacation home where you may not want to waste power using a standard water heater to keep water hot 24/7. Hooks up easily, no leaks. I'd install it somewhere easy to access as these do need cleaned/ flushed out occasionally.

Had a family friend who is an Licensed EE come and check my work. Everything on my end was as it should be. Unfortunately, the water passing through this unit simply does not get hot (or even lukewarm). Possibly a defective heating element? I internal wiring problem? Just do not know. Was looking forward to using this in out new 1½ bath in our basement. No go.
