Initially while still in the packing I couldn't figure out what it was but after removing the last of the packaging I knew this stuffed animal was special. Soft and loosely packed with tiny ball type stuffing makes it moldable but just the right amount. The weight makes it a potential pillow for a little head. The will be your baby's favorite toy.

Okay -- this is probably better suited for someone younger/smaller than I am. I guess that should be obvious based on the fact that it's a pink hippo, but I still really like these weighted stuffed animals. They really can be very comforting. I didn't really like the distribution of the weight -- it just doesn't feel quite right to me. Again, though, for someone younger/smaller than I am, it might be perfect.

This hippo is made of divinely soft fabric. A chenille style that higher end stuffies are often made of. The color is really pretty too. A soft rose/lavendar. It’s a perfect choice for a hippo. The weighted beads are sewn into the separate sections (belly and each of the four legs) , making the weight consistently balanced. I enjoy giving this to my kids when they have a tummy ache. It confers comfort a little magic so I can do other things for them while they’re recovering.I took off a star because it’s a little shorter than promised. It’s closer to 22” and the face has a seam down the middle, giving the hippo a bit of a beak. It feels so good though, it’s easy to forget it doesn’t look like the picture.

Pretty pink, soft, and so snuggly. Just the right weight. Beautifully made. A wonderful gift idea! My child asked for a hippopotamus for Christmas, and this is just right!

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely adorable and soft. It’s about 4 1/2 pounds weighted and it’s very comforting when you’re anxious. You can just have it laying on your chest or your legs or in your lap.
