A wonderful tool to use with beading
I really like using this storage container as it holds beads secure when traveling. The magnets are so strong, they come out of depression they are in. I used glue dots to hold them in and slide top off instead of lifting.

It’s great. I love it.
It’s what I was looking for. Thanks

Almost perfect but not there yet.
I love to bead, I've been doing it for over 25 years now and every time I see a beading board like this I have to try it. I work with #11 Delica Beads with a #10 2-2 1/2 inch needle, I make beaded tapestries or if I get bored working with the same color, or the tapestry is taking to long to complete I start making earrings or something small that can be finished in a day. These bead boards come in so handy when my other trays are locked up with the main project. This bead tray is made basically for seed beads, this is a nice well made little wooden tray with some felt on the bottom and a something with letters on top to keep your beads organized, it has the acrylic top with 4 magnets to keep everything inside. From the breakaway picture it looked like the part that had the letters on it was just a flat paper and the tray was just a cheap tray with padding but when I received it the tray did section off into little squares and the sides did come all the way down, The top with the lettering does not separate from the wood, its solid. The problem I found with this is the squares were a little to small to really get any beads out and there were sharp corners that trap the beads, the edges could have been more smoother so some of that could have been avoided. It worked ok as long as you filled up the section with beads and had a few layers to work with, but as soon as I got down to a single layer my needle started to get caught on that felt and the little hidden strands in the material or they got caught on the corners and I was creating the perfect catapult of flying beads. Glad I wear my cheaters, those beads can take an eye out, didn't know it was so dangerous, maybe I should go back to welding it was safer on the eyes. The worst part of this tray was that I had to dump the tray over to get all the beads out when my project was over, that was a pain, once again the beads get caught in the corner and wouldn't come out. If you work with different beads your results may be different but I doubt it. Overall: This is one of the better trays out here that I've seen so far, at least its not carved wood, they're cute but another catapult. The best I've seen is the porcelain trays but I haven't see them around lately. This tray is good for starters.

It's okay.
As far being well made, this is fine. It's made of ultra light wood and it's very attractive. It's too small though for my needs. The compartments are not very deep at all and too small to store or even sort beads in. Can't recommend.

It works, with a caveat
My wife does a lot of crafting. I got this for her to store a lot of her smaller items, particularly for Diamond dots.It does work. However, the lid is notorious for not staying in place all the time. So—that could be problematic if traveling with this item. It is good for careful home storage. She likes her box for use at home. It is well built and the individual compartments work nicely.Overall, it’s not a bad pickup!
