Apple Leather Sleeve (for 13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro) – Midnight Blue

First off, the product I got was new, genuine, and in perfect shape. Secondly, this is a leather sleeve -- nothing more, nothing less. It provides exactly as much protection as you would expect from a leather sleeve. At the current discounted price (since this is a long-since discontinued item from Apple), it represents a great value as compared to other options, especially considering that it's a first-party accessory that is made to fit the MacBook precisely. If you are rough or clumsy with your stuff, it's in your best interest to look elsewhere for more drop protection. If you just want something that will protect it from scuffs / scratches / small bumps while in your bag or when carried around, this is perfect. I wouldn't have paid full price when this product first came out, but at ~$50, it's a steal.

Although it’s a tight fit, this beautiful leather sleeve will accommodate the latest M3 MBA. Would buy Midnight Blue if seller dispatched to Europe. Great Buy

I hesitated before ordering this as it was designed for the older, tapered MacBook Air. I glad I bought it as it exudes Apple quality. It was a snug fit the first time I put my M3 MacBook Air in. However, after leaving it in the sleeve for a 2-3 nights, the leather has stretched to fit the MacBook Air's updated design. I prefer laptop sleeves fit on the snug side as the top is open.

This was made by apple to I expected nothing less than great, and they delivered on my expectations. Since it is made by apple it is a tight fit, but the more you use the better it gets. 10/10 would recommend

Worth $20. Anything over is not worth it in my opinion.

This item is perfect like buying from apple store. Using it on my m3 MacBook air 13” and it fits perfect.

Very sleek. Fits tight, but will hopefully stretch a bit with time.

⚠️ Update 10/27/2024 ⚠️I've put this sleeve to use on a recent trip. Here are a few more findings:- There is no good way to hold it. The sewn edge digs into your hand and is very uncomfortable. If you carry it upside down, for instance, when it's raining, your MacBook now digs into your hand! - It's a bad laptop mat! The surface is so smooth that your MacBook ends up sliding of it! Who knew?! - It provides as much protection for your Mac as a brown paper bag to a wine bottle!Original ReviewWhen Apple first introduced this product back in 2017, it came with a ridiculous  MSRP of $149. Nach einer Woche Verwendung (Transport ins Büro in einer Tasche) haben sich - trotz pfleglicher Behandlung - diverse kleinere und größere Gebrauchsspuren auf dem Leder gezeigt. Aus meiner Sicht ist das Leder zu anfällig für Beschädigungen. Da bin ich besseres gewohnt (z.B. vom Apple iPhone Leather Case) - vor allem für den Preis, der Aufgerufen wird.
