I love this little book and have found myself reaching for it multiple times a day, carrying it with me sometimes. The Hebrew words give both academic teaching and insight and are balanced with the easy to understand rest of the text. The pages and thick, shiny, and pleasing, as are the pictures. For me, the book is best used as a devotional, a starting place to dig deeper.

Beautiful leather type bound book that gives all the feels. Gorgeous nature pictures inside with each reading. I used it as a devotional book for almost 2 months. Okay, so I paid for this before it was officially out so I wasnt really expecting it. So there I was, reading my bible and I was reading 1 Chron 16:8 and it says "Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done." So I prepared to do just that and then I realized, I dont know Gods name. I mean, I heard a lot of them, but what name am I supposed to raise my voice and proclaim? I felt the tears coming from a feeling of embarrassment and shame. So I just got up, closed my bible and took the dogs out. While I was out there, I grab the mail. And what do you think was in the mailbox!? Thats right!! My book of Gods names! And I just laughed and laughed at how good...and funny...and timely He always is. Anyway, I have looked through this and I have to say, it is very informative. Giving exact pronunciations and a short personal note on this particular name. It has beautiful art and I love the cover. It will last as long as my bible. And now I have this great memory from my AB to go with it. And another book from this author that I got was 52 Hebrew words every Christian should know.
