The media could not be loaded.  The Mirror Camera overall looks very good quality the rear camera view angle is great cable is long enough to rear of van and power point. Customer service is very good they do try to help resolve any issues & replay very quickly can't fault the service.But I was confused by the support email advising that I need to purchase a filter at extra cost due to camera not compatible with my VW 12vdc supply. Support seem to advise that my VW Caddy Maxi Van was AC supply & that I needed to purchase a filter at my cost to enable the unit to work & that this was what was causing the issues with the unit failing to operate & flicker etc.Nit what I wanted so unfortunately I had to return but feel the unit had promise such a shame as I think it would get 5star.Sadly no good if it doesn't work on VW caddy Maxi Van 12v supply.Have now purchased a replacement system & hoping that this item lives up to its required intensions surely it's not hard to get these systems working without issues with today's tech.Sadly let down with the Auto-Vox M8 system.PRODUCT UPDATE... I’ve since found that the unit was not faulty it was the fact that my VW requires a power filter due to German spec CanBus systems causing power supply issues to the rear camera. The company have put so much customer consideration offering assistance with my purchase that I have no doubt to purchase this item again but this would need the power filter found on Amazon from 99p to £10:99 upwards.Having now read and understood the issue I feel I would have kept the item and added a filter. I have since purchase a different unit called Pumpkin that’s works well but does have slight flicker lines so have now purchased a filter so would have been better to stick the Auto-Vox unit but was just disappointed first time round...I just want you to be assured that the customer after sales service is very good and deserves full credit Thanks. Yes I would bye again. I have left a photo of the filter that you will need if you bye this for German or American cars/Vans. 12v power reverse filter.

I would say price is pretty much justified because of the quality and features of the product.Camera has wide almost 10 inch display and this camera covers my entire covers my massive rear view mirror. It sits nice and flat and hold the mirror with very strong rubber provided.Camera can be adjusted either to view front of the car or inside the car cabin. It's really flexible with the movement. Picture can be turned off with the click of a button to make it an ordinary rear view mirror and I would say it provides better view than my original rear view mirror because size is little bigger. Because of this massive screen picture looks so pleasant and clear. When I took the picutres it was overcast day and day was very dark yet picture was pretty clear.Rear camera is a work of art as well. Camera provides wide view of field behind the car and picture is incredibly clear. One feature I really liked the most is picture can be scrolled up and down to see the even more part behind the car. Rear camera can be used without connecting read power cable. If someone wants to use it as a reverse camera then power cable needs to be connected to the reverse light cable so when you put car in reverse then reverse camera will come on.Really impressive bit of kit this is. This might be really useful for uber and taxi drivers.

I have been pleased with this mirror dash cam so far. The item came packaged well and feels built to last. This is further emphasised by the 1 year warranty provided with the product.Having been involved in a few incidents and now owning a lease car, I thought it was best to purchase a dash cam. This dash cam comes with a detailed manual, car charging cable, USB cable, rubber straps and a rear camera too.I liked the idea of a mirror dash cam rather than one stuck on your windscreen as its a neater setup and gives you a larger rear view mirror in the process. What this product does lack is adhesive cable clips. They would have helped to keep the setup in your vehicle neat and unobstructive to your day to day driving.The mirror has a large screen fitted so you can see what the camera is recording. I like the fact the screen is touchscreen as it gives it a more premium feel. The screen is very useful as it allows you to view footage on it, rather than having to take the SD card out and viewing it on a laptop.The video quality of the dash cam is 1296P so is very clear. To save footage, you will require a micro SD card. The product has a very useful loop recording function which means you will never have a situation where your memory card is full, rather it will record over the older footage on the SD card. There is even a motion detection function so your dash cam only records once it senses movement near the vehicle. You also have a useful G-Sensor function which will lock the current recorded file if it detects a crash. This way the loop recording will not override your important video file.Please note if you want the dash cam to record whilst the vehicle is switched off then it will have to be hardwired into the vehicle for this to work as the 12V socket will stop providing power when the vehicle fully shuts down.For the price you even get an additional 720P rear view camera that can be wired so it comes on when you change the gear to reverse. It provides a wide 180 degree angle so will make parking easier as well us showing you obstacles hidden in your blind spots. I was also amazed to know it even has lane departure warning but I haven't had an opportunity to try this yet.Time will tell how good this dash cam is, but for the time being I am pleased with this purchase.
