A Great Towel, Great Delivery Service, and Great Price
I do hot yoga regularly and it's always a pain, not to mention an expense, investing in new yoga towels without any guarantee that they'll be a worthwhile investment. Yoga equipment can run quite expensive, and it's always a disappointment to buy a new article for your practice only to have it not live up to its claims of functionality. I've been using the Nanga yoga towel for a little under a week now and it has exceeded my expectations in every way.In general, in a yoga towel there are a few qualities I look for:1. Fit - How does the towel fit the mat? The Nanga towel is long enough to completely fit my 68" Jade Harmony mat with some additional inches at the top, so it should be a perfect fit for 72" mats as well.2. Absorbency - This towel is absolutely aces here. I used it for one of my sweatiest classes and my mat was still pretty much dry when I rolled it up. The towel itself wasn't as sopping to the touch as some get after absorbing sweat all class, either, so I wasn't horrified to put it in my bag on my way home.3. Grip - My absolute #1 most pivotal criterion for a towel, here. It doesn't matter how absorbent or lightweight or well-fitted a mat is if you're constantly in danger of slip-sliding out of inversions. Some mats work great once they're wet, which means you have to pre-spray them with water before class starts (annoying); others seem grippy when dry and halfway through class they're wet and effectively useless. I've tested out other towels that I eventually had to just give away because either the towel couldn't maintain traction on the mat beneath, or my fingers themselves slid too much on the fabric. The great news here is that this towel provides a secure grip between fingers and fabric and between fabric and mat for the entire duration of your practice. That quality is more valuable than gold in my opinion. On top of that, after washing and testing it out again in another class, it had lost none of that gripping quality - I've definitely purchased towels in the past and they've been fine for a single use and then after a wash or two become essentially useless.4. Weight - I bike to and from my yoga studio on most days, and walk when I don't bike. I need a towel that will fit in my bag without adding pounds of extra bulk and weight. The Nanga towel is as lightweight as any I've used, and it's no inconvenience at all to carry with my other things. You really can't go wrong buying one of these. They're superior to other, much, much more expensive yoga towels (cough cough I'm looking at you, Yogitoes) that I've used.

slip, better options
Came right away, however, there are mats that come with silicone grips, which are far better. I did not know that those existed and would recommend those rather than these. So not that there is something wrong with this towel, but there are better options out there.

Great for dry hands that slip around
Love this towel! I have really dry skin/hands and don't sweat a lot. During yoga (regular, not hot) my dry hands just slip around with no traction at all which scares me and makes it hard to relax/breathe regularly. I spritz the towel with a water bottle and then my hands and feet stay put. A little embarrassed to do that in the middle of a classroom of people lol seems distracting. So far I've only used it at home. It is long and goes all the way across my mat to wear i can tuck the little ends under to keep it from moving around.

I ordered the full length towel in the coffee color. The color is so soothing. Before getting my Nanga Yoga towel, I always had to wear socks because my feet would slip on the mat. Now, I get to experience the freedom of being barefoot on my mat! The towel stays put on the mat and my hands and feet grip well. I will definitely be a lifelong customer.

Good towel for hot yoga
I bought this towel to use with a new Jade mat for heated (98 degree) yoga classes. I was motivated by price and because this towel seemed light and thin. I've used it twice and really like it. The texture and color are great, it doesn't smell after use and it dries quickly. The first time I used it I found it a bit slippery but I found that spraying a little water on it before class eliminates that problem. I would recommend this towel to others and I will probably buy another one in a different color at some point.

Great Product, Happy Yogi
Just what I was looking for. I regularly practice heated power vinyasa and was looking for a hand towel that would stay at the top of my mat to keep my hands from slipping. This towel stays put and is gentle on the face when it comes time to wipe off the sweat. This was important to me since I have dry skin that is easily irritated. It was so great that I ordered another one and will probably order a few more since I practice regularly. I might even have to try their mat towels.I've already used this hand towel about or dozen or so times and it works just as well and has not been damaged in the wash.

This towel does not have any adhesive that joins it to your yoga mat. The material it is made out of is NOT non-slip. I would recommend this towel for someone who is practicing in an unheated studio or someone who is doing very basic poses. Would not buy again.

Great Product. Highly Recommend.
I've purchased two of these towels now and I love them. I use them for hot yoga and they don't slip at all on the yoga mat, which is a wonderful change from using a regular towel. I find they provide the best grip on hands and feet when at least slightly damp. I've washed and dried them in regular machines, and they seem to be holding up very well. I would definitely recommend them, especially for the price.
