Real Cedar
I didn't know some manufacturers sell sawdust and wood chips painted red as cedar mulch. This is the real thing and the roses thrive in it. My cold tolerant magnolias are doing well too despite the freeze, snow, heat wave weather we've been having. This sis my mulch of choice and I will be purchasing more after the spring clean-up.

It's okay, but not what I was expecting
I have been using Western Red Cedar from another company (Eco Bales), which is fantastic. I tried this product from National Bark and was disappointed. It does not have the distinctive red color, nor the wonderful aroma I am used to when using cedar mulch. This stuff is okay, but I like Eco Bales better.

Great Price!
This isn't the "pretty" cedar chips that are more expensive, but it's just right for my budget and will work great for my container garden. The shipping was fast and convenient.I used up the whole bag and need more, but it's no longer here! I have a disability so I can't drive to get my garden supplies and Amazon is my lifesaver.Please bring this product back!
