Large Lengkeng Kelengkeng Wood Plate Tree Slices. Rustic Place Mats Steak Boards

Good mix of sizes and shapes. I bought these to make wood slice clocks instead of being used as serving blocks/matts. Very rustic looking which is nice but for my purpose i will be sanding the tops down for a smoother finish for the clock face. I recommend regardless of the purpose you purchase that you invest in some good natural oils to keep the wood supple to stop it from splitting. These can be food grade so won't harm foods if used in this way. Overall very happy with them and price per slice is a bargain. Will be buying again.

I bought on dog these slices with the intention of trying to send it down and stain it so I wasn't concerned if the wood was rough or not. However if I'd bought this as a steak plate or some sort of display stand then I'd be a bit disappointed. As a steak play it would be unsuitable due to a fairly large crack and also the surface was quite rough. The photos which I uploaded are after I filled the crack, sanded the board and then applied an oil treatment to it.

Nice solid product with a good rustic finish. However, slightly disappointed that more care isn't taken in selection of these. Due to the shape and 2 rather large splits the usable surface of the board I received is not great. The rubber feet attached to the underside provide barely any grip either. Will likely buy another in the hope that I receive something slightly more uniform in shape to be useable as a serving board.

It is a good size and beautiful wood but it has cracked. you wouldn't want to eat of it. Good enough for my use.

Thank you so much for my lovely boards - i'll be using these as center pieces at my wedding and they are perfect. Just the rustic look i was after - each board is unique so looks natural. The smallest one measures 26cm so a little less than the minimum size of 30cm that is within the description but that is a minor point. Can highly recommend these!
