I love the material. It is 100% cotton. They are very smooth. Let me just say this, many people really don't like cotton. They claim it is scratchy. I love cotton and especially percale which is very crisp. These are not percale, which refers to a specific type of woven fabric which is always cotton. This is not a percale weave but in spite of all the bad reviews from people who obviously do not like cotton but prefer a synthetic fiber I decided to go ahead and order and I am delighted I did. The print colors are beautiful , very feminine. Yes there is a seam which hits right at the edge of the mattress all the way around. I do not find that to be a problem because you to not sleep on the very edge on the seam that is part of your mattress so why would you object to a seam in that same place in a sheet??? Next, is the issue of bottom fitted sheet being too small for a thick mattress. Mine is a 15" deep mattress. I ALWAYS have that problem, especially after the sheets are washed because cotton sheets are always going to shrink, they are unfortunately never preshrunk before being cut. I have finally decided to just find a solution to this. My solution, which will not of course be most anyone else's is to take a top sheet that is plain white and add the necessary addition to the corners to make them tuck under. This is always a problem with a king sheet in cotton. If you have a double bed the solution is quite simple. Just always order queen size sheets and you have an ample and beautiful fit. It's just the way manufacturing is done now a days. You never get the full measure you are paying for in sheets. Not if they are 100% cotton. So for the above reasons I am perfectly. happy with my purchase. They are soft and beautiful. but if you are use to buying polyester sheets and like the slick feel of high thread count polyester, then do not order cotton. I love the crisp feel of cotton. It feels clean. Wow, I just put these on my king bed. The size of these sheets is unbelievable. Being cotton of course they are going to shrink, but even after that, there will be ample room for them to fit beautifully. The same feature some are complaining about, the second piece of material they sewed around the sides of material, was a great idea. It gives more room to fit a deep mattress. They are actually more that necessary right now to fit, but after washing, they will likely be a downsize to a perfect fit. Great design. Ok, one week later, I washed these sheets, and as I expected the material shrunk. Now I see why the bottom sheet was cut extra big. Fabric is never pre washed before making sheets, and cotton always shrinks. This is the very first time a manufacturer actually took this in consideration and made allowance for this. Now that I have washed them, and put them back on the bed the bottom sheet now fits perfectly. I don't have to pull and struggle with it to get the corners pulled down over the mattress, What a great surprise. My mattress is 15 inches thick and every single set of cotton sheets I have purchased has shrunk down so much that one set even tore while trying to pull the corner down. So if I could give these sheets 10 stars I would.

I was put off by the price but I went ahead and purchased these sheets for my guest room anyway because I loved the rose print. I am so happy that I did! These sheets are gorgeous! They are well made from high quality fabric. These are the most expensive sheets I have ever purchased. They are also the nicest! The pocket is so deep it should fit any size mattress no matter how thick. The elastic runs all the way around which keeps the sheet on the bed with no worry about it popping off. I love the seaming which runs around the edge of the mattress. It keeps the sheet perfectly centered. The high quality heavy cotton fabric is smooth and crisp just as cotton should be. Reviews that claim these sheets are scratchy make no sense to me. There is nothing scratchy about high quality cotton. I can only assume those reviewers are used to sleeping on flannel. The colors of these sheets are vibrant and the rose print pattern is so beautiful that I hate covering it up with blankets and a bedspread! The set comes with two sham style pillowcases that look pretty left on top of the bedding. These sheets wash well and came out of the dryer with almost no wrinkling when I used an anti-wrinkle dryer sheet. They also come beautifully packaged if you are looking to give the set as a gift.

These sheets are unbelievable. They are so beautiful and luxurious. Would definitely recommend buying these. The piping around the fitted sheet is such an elegant touch. Just do it.. splurge a little!

Some people said It was more yellow then they wanted but I think it’s a perfect soft beige, just like the picture. It’s absolutely beautiful! It’s classic and for the price, feels very soft.

Good value for cotton sheets. Nice weight and pretty print. Washes well with few wrinkles. Some complain about the piping around the fitted sheet. I think it gives a crisp clean edge to the mattress

I absolutely loved the fitted sheet, which truly lived up to its promise of fitting an extra deep queen mattress. The pillowcases are also really nice and well-made. What disappointed me is the length of the top sheet. It’s surprisingly short, given the quality and attention to detail of the rest of the set. I will have to sew a panel at the end to get it to tuck securely under the end of the mattress.

So shabby chic! I love them for the dainty feeling about them. They fit my bed really well and I have a thicker mattress WITH a topper. They are not silky smooth but they don’t feel really rough either. I’m sure they will hold up well thru the years of regular use. I did wash them in cold water because I wasn’t sure how much they would shrink since they are cotton! I would certainly buy them again

I have a high mattress and none of my sheets fit. These are perfect with room to spare. A little pricey but we’ll worth it.
