Don't tell me I'm required to write a review. I'm not. Any customer good will you build up is lost by locking me into a web page that "demands" a review. I am not to the point of not buying from you yet, but I am at the point where I will no longer comply with this silly requirement of yours. I hope Bezos does better with the Post.

Beautiful Plates
Plates arrived promptly, but unfortunately one was broken in shipment. Seller promptly sent return item which arrived intact. The bird art on these plates is really stunning with bright colors.

could have been a nice set of dishes
Lots of apologizing from seller. Forgot about me and had to keep on the issue more than a couple times. Flecks on the glaze as this means that the firing was not done on a "clean" piece of earthenware. Not heirloom quality. PORTMEIRION very disappointing as birds look very nice. I had the first set sent back then asked to have the second set inspected before being shipped and but seller dismissed the idea as being unnecessary. Got second set with same problem. Some of the dishes were good but over all poor quality. I'm surprised Portmeirion couldn't make it right on second set. . I started this transaction Nov 13 2013 and finally got my money back Jan 14 2014. I felt the seller tried to guilt trip me as that everyone else was happy and I was lucky I didn't have to pay restocking fees and shipping as if they were doing me a favor.Sold by tabledecordirect

Beautiful quality but you have to really like birds
My husband does, so we're keeping these. It's the same high quality set as the other Portmeirion, and I will basically enjoy using them. I was just a little surprised when I first looked at them, because some of the birds are big and really in-your-face. But even the big ones are growing on me. The smaller ones are lovely.
