Great realistic wood look made from seemingly durable and high quality composite material. Everything about this storage cabinet we like, especially the proce point. It looks and feels so much nicer and higher quality than the faux units you would buy from target walmart or other retail stores. It was pretty easy yo install and build although a little intimidating at first, especially since it required some wood glue to assemble. Had a little trouble with a few of the screws and cam locks but overall happy with the build. We are thinking about buying one or 2 more since we like the look so much.Definitely not better than a a real wood cabinet, but definitely a better value. I figure we would have spent at least 2-3× as much for a real barnwood,rustic looking cabinet.

The cabinet finish is true to the photos. The piece feels very sturdy and is a nice and clean but rustic design - I love it! I work for a very well known high-end furniture company and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this piece is close to the quality and look of the furniture that my company would sell for $$$ (expensive furniture is not necessarily better - we are often times paying for the fancy brand name). This is a great value! It did take myself and one other person several hours to put the piece together, but the instructions were very good. We just took it slowly and the end result was well worth it. The only thing that would make this buying experience even better would be the return/exchange policy. I purchased several pieces from this Sauder line and decided to exchange a couple pieces for another cabinet like this. However, return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and shipping heavy furniture like this is prohibitively expensive! Don't make the mistake that I did - be certain before you order!

A lot to assemble and heavy but worth it.

This storage cabinet works perfectly for a small pantry. It matches perfectly a sideboard that we got to hold Christmas dishes and china. I assembled it solo until I got to laying it on its face to tack the back on the back which holds it square. Its probably one of the most important parts of the whole piece. It's just a folded up thin piece of fiber board, but don't assume it's just packing material! If you follow the directions on lining up the door hinges correctly you'll have a nice piece when you're done. Note: the box is very heavy and you'll need a helper to carry it into the house. I used two Amazon guys.🙂 It should take four hours of work with a half-hour helper to get it done.

This is a great cabinet! It's very sturdy, looks great, and was fairly easy to put together. My dad helped me and we got it together in a couple hours. Its the first thing I have put together that actually had written instructions with pictures instead of just pictures. It's very good quality for what it is, that is not being solid wood. It is made of a high quality laminate and the boards are very thick and the laminate is very scratch resistant.

We usually pick Sauder for these types of storage in the past we found them very sturdy and easy to assemble. This one however, was a challenge. Very wobbly and none of the pictures showed that the shelves were all the way across the cabinet, instead they were split. The cabinet works for the spare bathroom in our basement.

Wow! The end result is gorgeous but just be mindful that it will take 2 people at least 3 or more hours to assemble. Well worth it!
