After 18 months, the clock started blinking in and out. Not a bulb issue. A charger failure. After about 12 times plug and unplugging the USB cord over 2 years, the USB port fell out! Do not recommend this brand as it is just not reliable.original review:I bought another model of the Makenology Nixie clock 2 years ago and I would consider it the only piece of art I own. It sits below the TV in my living room entertainment center. The tubes are bright enough to be seen from a distance but not bright enough to be bothersome during dark room movies.Makenology failed to send the package on the first attempt and I had to chase them a month later. Got an extra bulb out of it and used it to replace a bulb that burnt out around 7 months. A second bulb burnt out around 9 months. We had to occasionally unplug and reset the unit when the circuitry misbehaves. Replacement bulbs are $20. Six bulbs is almost the price of a new clock.
