This product is downright bad. I had this leash for 3 weeks before it ripped. (See photos) The leash is supposedly rated for 110lb dogs but mine is 16lbs! I’m only glad I noticed the tear when I did so that it didn’t break in a dangerous area. This pathetic product couldn’t last 1 month. My other retractable leash made it a whole year before tearing. Besides the tearing the locking mechanism isn’t as smooth or easy to use as other leashes I’ve tried. I’m shocked this product has so many positive reviews. A leash being this fragile is dangerous for your pet! Be warned!

My last retractable leash jammed somehow and broke just like all the other ones I have had. I bought this one because it was the best seller and had a 5 star rating. I did read in some reviews that the collapsible dish was not included. Well, put your mind at ease because not only is the leash 5 stars but so is the seller. Even before I received the leash and the assesories that came with it the seller contacted me by e-mail saying if by any chance I do not receive the collapsible dish to contact her and she will have it shipped to me. The retractable leash is very well made, better than any I have ever had, and so is dispenser for the poop bags that came with it as well along with a roll of bags. The collapsible dish did come with the leash so that was not even an issue. I am very happy with this leash and know you will be to!

*Update* I often feel that customer service is dead. I have to eat crow, because now I see that if only I had reached out to the company before leaving a review, they would have taken care of it promptly. While I still feel the same about the product itself, immediately after leaving this review, I received a personalized, thoughtful note from the company offering a refund for the product. It's clear that customers come first for the company and that they care for their products and their clients. For that reason alone, I'd highly encourage support of the company. Even though I am not fond of this particular product, I'll sure be ordering from them in the future.*Original Review*The quality is okay, but the lock is backwards from every other leash I've ever used; it's really difficult to get used to it. The leash is also oversized and clunky. I waited too long to return, but if I could - I would return it for a refund.

The Leash arrived in very good time in perfect condition. I am a first time user of a tape retractable leash, but as I hated the cord retractable that would invade every crevice (including a headlight in my car) I thought it was worth a try! I have only been using the leash for a few days with my 12.5 energetic Chiweenie, and so far so good. The one press control can be a challenge, but I'm sure after a little more use that won't be an issue. The tape seems to be pretty hardy, my pup isn't a chewer but is very adept at getting wrapped around trees etc. and I don't see any fraying. The bowl has been very well used, definitely, a good addition--as an aside the bowl needs to be attached to the poop bag holder as the clip doesn't fit over the handle. Excellent quality, the handle is very comfortable with a nonslip rubbery feel and big enough to accommodate any size hand.

This is a well made and well packaged retractable leash. This is the second one I have bought because I like it so much. I have had compliments on how nice it is. What I like most, is the locking mechanism for the leash. It's so easy to use and well made. I have had other retractable leashes and end up having problems with the locking mechanism part.What I also like is the collapsible bowl and the poop holder. They too are well made. I feel this is a very good value for everything you get. None of it feels cheaply made. It seems as though care and attention to detail went into this product. I say this because their packaging is so well done and cute. This is why I included the pictures. I believe this company truly cares about their product and what they put into it. I love supporting companies like this.No need to look at any other retractable leashes this is the one to have and that you will be happy with.

We have a 40 pound german shepard who used this leash a few times a day. The leash tore after one month, right after it was not eligible for return! The claim was that it was suitable for 110 pound dog, my 40 pound puppy ripped it just running. Save your money and buy a different leash!!!

WOW! so we have a small pug, this leash was rated for much bigger dogs. but pugs are Stubborn! so far we have broken 3 x $26 retractable leash from local pet store (incl name brand ones like Kong), im Kicking myself for not checking online for a better product First!the lock is High quality, you can feel it the first time you push down, there’s no shakiness to the plastic and it feels so secure! it has a sliding mechanism that pushes to unlock & even that feels solid. the leash manages to untangle the tape everytime during retraction! prior leashes would wind up tangles that would make the unit get stuck and unuseable. i really can’t gush enough about this product, it’s Amazing.oh also if that wasn’t enough, they include a collapsible water dish + very nice packaging. Great job, 5* all around

Definitely skeptical when it arrived - but quickly realized it was definitely worth the money. Only thing I don’t like is how everything clips to the handle instead of a built in eyelet or something, but would not prevent me from buying again! The leash doesn’t seem like it would hold a 100lb dog but our large German Shepherd feels safe on it at >75lbs.
