UPDATE: Changed from 2 starts to 1. The earbud now drains completely while 'Off' within 2 hours, sitting in my bag. Within the time it took me to head home from work, do an errand, change into gym clothes, etc., it was completely dead. I ended up having to use an old cheap pair of wired earbuds at the gym since I didn't want to wait around for it to charge. Have put in a purchase for another product.Previous review: I've had this earbud a few weeks now, but less than a month, and the cons are unfortunately outweighing the pros.The pros are simple: the earbud fits comfortably in my hear. The volume and playback quality are great with my music and podcasts. It's very discreet so people at work don't even notice I'm wearing it most of the time.The cons are... more advanced. So when you turn the earbud on or off, you have to do a long press with the one button. However, when you hold the button down, for some reason the volume is incredibly low. This makes it super hard to hear the earbud tell you whether it's turning on or off. Phonecalls are distorted and I don't think it's a very reliable microphone (this is fine, I have a set of wired headphones I tend to use for phonecalls). The biggest issue I'm having lately is the battery draining overnight, even if I turn the earbud off. For instance, the last two nights I make sure to turn the earbud off after fully charging it. I'll get to work the next morning, listen for about an hour, then the earbud says 'battery low' repeatedly until I charge it again. The first time this happened, I thought it was a fluke, but now it's a continual issue. I'll probably keep this for work and just charge it frequently, but I'm looking into something more substantial for when I bike or go to the gym for sure.

This earbud would be fine, except it doesn't hold a charge. If I fully charge it and don't use it within 24 hours, it doesn't power on at all. Could be just this unit or the product in general. Unfortunately, I live abroad and had it sent through a courier service, so I can't get it back for a return.There is one feature I like about it which is the fact that it charges through a micro USB rather than having a custom charging unit. That means there's no chance you'll misplace the charger and render the unit useless. Unfortunately, it's useless already so that feature is only good in theory.

First off, I use this solely for listening, not for making calls. Sound quality is excellent, especially for the price. However, they've obviously made sacrifices in other areas to make up for it. Battery life is so-so (four to five hours of constant listening, on average). However, the battery doesn't retain a charge well at all — even when turned off and fully charged, if you leave it overnight it will be down to about half power by morning. It will also only charge via USB port if the device it is plugged into is also charging something *else* via USB — it apparently can't initiate a request for power on its own. Additionally, after under a year of use it started to exhibit faults such as showing itself fully charged without actually being fully charged (this morning I got about two hours of use out of it almost fresh off the charger) and becoming increasingly finicky about when it will charge, I imagine due to degradation of the USB mini port. This requires ridiculous amounts of careful manipulation to get it in just the right position to charge without moving.

I love how long the battery lasts. I can charge it overnight and get about 7-8 hours of playtime. Also, I love how I can hide it under my hair and not be obvious that I am listening to music or audio books.Why did I not give it a 5 star? The mic is useless... callers cannot hear you. Then, there is the earbud cover that disappeared. I bought a replacement...that disappeared too. Yes, operator error but maybe it falls off so easily because it doesn't have any sort of case for when not in use? Overall, I would probably but it again just to be able to listen to audio books discretely.

I love this little earbud for running and listening to podcasts while I'm cleaning. For safety reasons, I only wanted a one-sided earbud and I didn't need the sound to be too loud (which is bad for you anyway). This stays snugly in my ear during my run. It also works just fine for calls (which is shocking since the mic is so far away from my mouth). I have another wireless headset that I use for calls though and I wouldn't recommend this one for conference calls. But if you're just using it for running, walking, driving, etc., it's great. I just wish it came with a padded case.

The Bluetooth works great. My huge problem is the Bluetooth won’t stay in my ear. The earbud is too small and there is only one size cushion so I have to keep forcing it back into my ear or hold it in my ear. For the price, it’s a great value if you have small ear canals.

This had high reviews when I bought it, but it looks like all of us that ordered around the same time are now getting hit with the same thing - the battery wouldn't hold a charge when left off for even a few hours and now, it won't work at all even immediately after charging. I don't think I've ever given a bad review on Amazon, but if it will help others move on to something that works better ...

Not sure about other reviewers saying "earbuds" implying they got more than one, but I received one earpiece as I was expecting. However, unless I was in a dead silent room, the person I was talking to couldn't understand me.
