Very detailed and a place for memorabilia

I bought this for my best friend’s baby shower and she absolutely loved it- I looked at tons of memory books because I knew this was important to her and this book ended up being perfect. The keepsake box is also a great touch to keep everything in one place! This book will be a great keepsake for mom and for the baby to have when he gets older.

Why is the boy keepsake box so damn expensive whereas the keepsake box for girls is almost $60 cheaper? I mean, really...what's the difference between the stock photo that comes inserted on the front cover of the book, and the difference between the two sets of blue vs. pink? If anyone has an answer to this, I'd love to hear it.....However, I went ahead with purchasing the boy keepsake box as I have two others for both my daughter and son. I bought them back in the day when my two other kids were born for, I think, around $30.00 which is a decent and reasonable price compared to the freaking $89.00. I went ahead with this purchase because I absolutely love the keepsake box. I've put so many items from my children's newborn years (and continue to do so now) that it's the perfect fit for their items. It's also hard to find any other keepsake boxes like these on the Net or even in store.Anyways. Yes, crazy and probably stupid enough in the head (well I am 4 months pregnant) to buy this for my second son, considering the price and all, but well worth it because I will have this box to store and cherish this child's memories. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I’ll admit I wasn’t the biggest fan of the cover design but I loved the fact that it came with a memory box so I ordered. It might be the hormones talking but I absolutely adored this book in person. The pages are so cute and just melted my heart. The book is well-made and each page has plenty of room for pictures and text. I really love the birthday interview for the final page: the 5th Birthday.This baby book exceeded my expectations. I wish I would have bought it sooner. There’s pages dedicated to the pregnancy and baby shower so it really does capture the experience as a whole, even before the little guy is here. I would not hesitate to order this baby book.

This is the only baby book I would consider purchasing again. It is clean, simple, and straightforward.The book itself is hardcover and provides the option to include 2 photos of your baby. Inside includes various pages with memories, details, and photos. I found it is more lighthearted than most baby books - which will be fun later on! There are also pages for his first, second, third, fourth, and fifth birthdays. The fifth birthday page is an interview with your child - I'm definitely looking forward to that!The box is also high quality and fits the book perfectly. The slots are adequate size to keep my son's items just fine. I love that it keeps the items (I have a hospital bracelet and beanie from the hospital thus far) and the book together in one spot. I will definitely order this again if we have any more boys in the future. For the price, you can't beat it!

I received a different style (more of a forest theme) of this product in 2010 as a gift. I found the box + book to be a huge asset, and it's really hard to find this combo in stores. Good ole Amazon to the rescue. For Baby #2 I ordered this monkey one.The storage box is wonderful - extra photos you don't know what to do with, the little hospital hat they give you, 1st Christmas cards for the baby, etc. Keeps everything in one place, and there's a little spot for a label on the outside of the box. The box is sturdy and attractive.The pages with the various topics (first bath, first haircut, first trip, first fall/winter/spring/summer) aren't in the order I would have done it necessarily, so just be sure you flip back/forth through the book as your baby grows so you can write down the details and add photos as they happen.That's the one piece of advice I'm really trying to stick to - keep up with the baby books. The details will fade from our memories quickly!

We got this in anticipation of our little guy's arrival. We wanted a book that captured family stuff as well as things about him, my labor, his birth, etc. This book is wonderful. It's adorable without being over the top. It's got many things to fill out without over doing it. The space for each prompt is generally perfect. I love that it comes with a box for mementos. Each birthday is a page and allows for a picture which seems just right for our needs. My husband and I keep telling each other how glad we are we chose this book/box. The book is fairly traditional, however, so I'm not sure I'd recommend if seeking a less traditional mom and dad based book. Otherwise this is perfect!!
