When the power goes off and house runs on inverter we know that we cannot run heavy loads. This is where an SCR comes to our rescue. I ordered and got it in less than 12 hours. Tested it within 30 mins and 1 hour later I was running my Iron box on this xcluma SCR. The packaging was damaged because no box was used it arrived in only the plastic cover. Due to this it was damaged and I was skeptical it would even work. But thankfully the product is good and worked instantly and as per my satisfaction. No I can run iron box and even geyser on my 900va inverter. Definitely recommend.

this is not good for inductive type load. induction motor not reducing it speed (RPM) The main thing I wanted was to reduce the speed of my coconut scraper motor to avivod injure to hand , it running full speed as it was , I tried it with a 100 w lamp also, it not dimming the light also , overall this item don't have any return policy on it but replace is there which i no need this kind of item anymore, overall straight away to scrap bin,

I purchased this product voltage regulator dimmer to control the rotational speed RPM of hand drill, hand grinder and circular saw. But it can also be used to control lighting as well as heating. It is not perfect but good partially for hobby workers. It can control and step down voltage upto 50 volts only. It is not the real variac as it is an electronic variac which is compact and very light in weight. The real varaic is made up of copper rewinding and can manage and control every single volt. This is very heavy in terms of weight. It's weight depends upon the the wattage that it can support. 4000 volt variac is approximately double the weight of 2000 volt variac. You can have a look and check the same with the inverter, Servo, Stabilizer manufacturers or repairers as they need to step down for step up the voltage. This is a SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier). It should be great for resistive type load. In my opinion, this is not good for inductive type load. SCR type voltage regulator are not mainly used to control the induction motor in a reliable manner. The main thing I wanted was to reduce the speed of my Kenstar room water-cooler further than what's provided by the lowest setting on the speed control knob. It uses a 1-phase 230V 50Hz 1.0A 107W 1/7HP motor. The main issue is whenever I reduce the voltage using this SCR regulator the motor does reduce it's speed accordingly and it's great but unfortunately it starts to heat up very high very soon. This is the reason I can't use it with my cooler because I think it will reduce the life of the motor. But I am keeping this great product nonetheless because it will be used for some other resistive type load. I am happy I have this one anyway. Thanks for this. Chinese hardware is great and very affordable with good quality. I wish India could be like that some day.

Product work smoothly.but it can be better if negetive is common both input and output.
