The Skillmatics Poke-in Art – Disney Princesses kit comes with everything needed to make beautiful princess dresses. My 5 year old granddaughter enjoyed the process. She is thrilled with Disney princesses so this was a great new craft for her. It was easy to do, kept her interest, and allowed her to use her imagination to design the dresses with all the fabric pieces. The kit is made well, the fabric pieces stay put well, and the kit offers a wide variety of princess dresses to design. A good quality craft kit.

My 3 year old loved this kit! She needed a little help lining up the pieces of fabric and keeping the protective mat under the dress but she figured it out quickly. I like how the fabric pieces were a little see through so you could see the holes underneath (although it’s harder to see under the darker colors). The princesses are made of a thin piece of foam which I think should’ve been a little thicker but maybe it’s better that it’s thinner for smaller hands. The instructions were clear and then size was perfect. I loved all the color options and that they were a little grippy. I wouldn’t say it’s exactly mess free, considering my daughter kept calling the fabric pieces confetti and throwing it everywhere HAH. But I will say I’ll take that any day over messy glue. Anyway, good quality craft kit, well thought out and toddler approved! Highly recommend!

I purchased this item for my 6 year old grandson and he had a wonderful time crafting the items for Easter. It was very easy for him to do, and he sat and concentrated on which colors he should choose and then would just stick in the fabric with the tool. I didn't need to supervise him after my initial explanation of what he needed to do and he enjoyed the quite time just focusing on the project. He was so proud of his creations he gave each on as a give to someone special. The quality of the product is top notch and the colors are very vibrant. Great fun!!

My grand kids had fun doing this activity. My 7 year old had no trouble with it after a few minutes. However, my 5 year old had some issues getting the fabric in the center and finding the holes. He had a lot of empty holes, but was happy with it which is what’s important. There was way too many fabric squares, but that’s better than not having enough. A mess free activity that kept them occupied for almost an hour.

My six year old loves this. She says it’s is very fun to do and looks really pretty when done. It is simple to do but takes a little time to complete so it holds their interest for a while. It comes with everything you need to make a foam flower bouquet. All you need to add is a vase or something to put the bouquet in. She has enjoyed making the flower bouquets so much, she is already asking for another Poke-in Art kit.

My granddaughter is unwell and this was the perfect activity for her to do with her feet up. She said it was very relaxing! It's really simple to do, the final effect is really pretty. Plenty of pieces of shiny fabric, different pics and sizes to complete. Only criticism is that it's quite expensive for what it is, but she did love it so worth it in the circumstances.
