I really like these earrings, and if you're allergic to any sort of metals, don't pass up these earrings for that reason. I'm allergic to sterling silver and bought them anyway, I'll tell you why. All you have to do is brush clear nail polish (A top or base coat polish) over the post and the back of the earring, anywhere that will come in contact with your ear. Let it dry and you're set to go for the day. Paint a bit more polish every 2 days or so because natural oils in your skin will wear down the protective polish coat preventing any allergic reactions from occurring.Anyway- the point is these are wonderful earrings. I love the opals and get complimented on them frequently. They are a pretty decent size, for most people I'd say they're about the size of your ring finger nail. They came in a wonderful box and came quickly. I bought these on impulse during a lightning sale and I don't regret it at all (as some people do with impulse buying) , they're great.

Due to the size of these opals, and the width of the sterling silver design that surrounds these earrings, they have some substantial weight. Because of this, they are heavy and tend to tilt forward on my earlobe. I had to substitute some large plastic backings in lieu of the standard ones supplied in order for them to rest flat on my ear.I would have preferred less sterling and larger diamonds (they are quite tiny). However, the simulated Opals are quite pretty. So, I find them to be Ok, but not my favorites.

They are very thick and kind of like a ball, but that's okay. I love them, even though they sort of droop slightly. I'll try finding wider backs. Got the matching pendant, and it's also lovely. I think I'll be wearing them a lot.

The stone sticks up a little more than I would like but the stone is beautiful and these earrings look so much more expensive than what they are. Very good quality silver and sturdy backs

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I received these earrings. They are in no way shape or form as is described online.there are NO DIAMONDS IN IT AT ALL. The only stone on this earrings are the Opal. I'm in the process of returning these.

Lovely earrings, but when I opened the box, one of the posts had entirely snapped off the earring. I'll have to have it repaired. This probably doesn't happen to everyone, but I think it is evidence of some sort of "quality control" problem somewhere along the line.

I have bought many pieces of jewelry from Amazon, and we'll admit the opal I thought would be my least favorite.To my surprise they are stunning, and I think they will be mt very " Favorite "

I bought the opal ring and earrings for my granddaughter's 16th birthday. They are beautiful and I know she will absolutely love them. I am more than pleased with this purchase
