This chorizo is amazing. I can never find it around where I live. All you see is Mexican chorizo and that stuff sucks. I use this Spanish cured chorizo for the best street tacos you've ever had. Just make sure you remove the casing before you eat it. Also when ever you cook it, make sure to strain and press out all the paprika drippings with paper towels, there will be a lot. It's also great cooked and added to jambalaya or many other recipes. It's even great simply sliced (no casing) with some extra sharp white cheddar cheese and crackers. It's worth it, you get quite a bit. Delicious!!

Ahhh, chorizo. Why are you so delicious, and yet... so unavailable? I think chorizo is playing "hard to get" with me... it's never available at any of my local supermarkets except in the Mexican variety (which is ground and not dried like this type). If it IS available (Whole Foods, Fresh Market, etc.) it's INSANELY expensive. I cut back a star here, because it's basically no cheaper to get it online than it is to get it from the store. The one benefit is that I don't have to drive for 20 minutes to go pick it up, so that's why I appreciate the convenience of ordering it online. This chorizo was very good. It rendered a nice amount of delicious fat into the pan, and it tasted awesome in the paella that we like to make with it. I think next time I will go for a more spicy variety though. I've never bought anything but mild chorizo in the past, but I think this one was a little too mild for my taste. It was missing that sort of strong... paprika/pepper combo flavor that I really enjoy in chorizo. So just keep that in mind when buying - yes, it's delicious, yes, it gives off a lot of yummy fat, but no, it is NOT the most flavorful variety of chorizo out there.

This Palacios Chorizo Autentico HOT is a staple in my kitchen. While available locally, Amazon often offers competitive pricing. I use it so much, I wish they had it as a Subscribe and Save item. The chorizo's rich, smoky aroma is immediately noticeable upon opening. Its deep red color indicates quality pimentón. The texture is firm, making it easy to slice for charcuterie or cube for cooking.

Love this chorizo to put out on a cheese board, put in an omelet, or on a pizza. Had it first in Spain and am very happy to be able to purchase this in the US. Not available at all supermarkets. Use by date is usually pretty far off. Can be stored at room temp until you open the package, then needs to be refrigerated.

It seen old and dry. I am actually from Spain and to me it seems that this chorizo is been seating too long on the shelf. The taste is not good either. I would never buy it again

First off I'm not Spanish so don't really know what should be good Spanish Chorizo but I know good sausage. Where I live in eastern US their are a lot of speciality butchers that produce some great product. Anyways with this [ham], it was well made, very dense and good flavor but didn't blow me away. A good hard salami from around here, sorry, beats it. Now the mild chorizo I got at the same time I tried dicing some up, fry in a pan with scrambled eggs, boy was that a mistake, so bitter, too much paprika in this chorizo. I quess you have to use this in a dish with rice too absorb some of the bitterness.

Calidad regular. Además ya es la segunda vez que pido dos paquetes y solo llegó uno. Claro, así a fuerzas pago envío. La primera creí que era un error de alguien, ahora veo que Es un abuso 👎
