Tried to darken a pair of light leather shoes and it just made them streaky. Can't even wear them now. Would not recommend for changing color.

Premium Suede and Leather Dye exceeded my initial expectations. It took me less than five minutes to read the instructions on the bottle and start dying my brown suede boots. I'm constantly wearing my boots whether I'm working or just walking the dog. I lightly applied a thin coat on both boots and allowed them to dry outside for a few hours. My boots almost looked new again the next day. The boot's original color were already wearing off after all the abuse it has took in the last six months. I am more than satisfied with this product, thus 5 stars.Just make sure you have a throw-away towel or area outside to apply this dye, it'll be a shame if you got this stuff on the carpet or furniture.

I was looking for something that would cover 100% of superficial scratches (not deep scratches). This item does have some color but it is very very light, therefore shoes look clean but still scratched.

This is a leather dye, not a polish. I bought it to mend scuffs on a leather belt and most importantly, not discolor my slacks. The color was true, worked as advertised and has not damaged my clothing.

Have been looking for this type of product for a long time and finally found it. It really does restore the leather and makes it look new. My 20+ year old Johnston and Murphy loafers were on their last legs, or so I thought. After one application, they look almost new.
