My teen Son loved it! He never used umbrellas before because he didn't like how they turn inside out in the wind and just walked in the rain. But this umbrella doesn't turn inside out in the wind! It's very sturdy and great looking! And he says it looks cool carrying it over his shoulder on a long handle

I find umbrellas to be pretty cumbersome, and I'm not a fan. Generally.I previously had a "Legend of Zelda Master Sword" umbrella and unfortunately a semi strong gust did that in, but it does for comicons.This was a replacement, and it is probably the sturdiest umbrella I've ever bought - it has at least twice the number of spokes reinforcing the thing, so it'll take more than a stiff breeze to bend this out of shape.The handle is nifty, but when I've shaken outside after it's been raining, it's a bit on the wobbly side - but if you hold the metallic bit it's fine.It's a bit aggressive when it opens, but overall best brolly.

The umbrella itself is glorious, I love the design, it's sturdy and holds up well in the rain. Great talking piece, everyone stops to ask about it and gives me great compliments.Down side? Handle is cheaply made and broke from a fall, the sleeve is not made to strap around you like an actual samurai sword, can sling on your shoulder maybe and the sleeve feels cheaply made, could tear quite easily.As this is a review of an umbrella, I've given four stars, but if you're expecting a high quality katana style like umbrella, you are sure to be disappointed.

Worth every penny.More sturdy than average umbrella bought from the competition.I have a few and THIS PARTICULAR ONE deserves five stars.You can buy other, more expensive products looking like this and mark my words:They will not be half as sturdy as this one.Hats off to the designer.Only minus is that the cover bag could use a little bit reinforcement.

This umbrella despite its novelty design is EXCELLENT at resisting british weather the above average number of ribs in its design really help it resist the wind and the shaped handle aids grip even with wet hands it is also easily big enough to shelter 2 people from the rain too

This umbrella is great if your looking for something a bit different but also don’t want to stand out too much. Very sturdy and lots of cover. Opens easily and is a great product

1. It is rather small, though in the pictures looks much bigger... 2. It is rather short and does not give the appearance of a sword. 3. The case is very simple, without a hole for a peak. 4. It is nice sound when you open it; it is easy to fold the umbrella. 5. Because it is so small - like for a small teen, the shoes are wet - not protected from the rain... 6. The handle is big and long, but too shiny plastic - slips out of your hands (not solid, like a toy!) The leather loop would be helpful on the handle... 7. Material is good and looks like very good umbrella's mechanism. Let’s hope it will work longer than other umbrellas… 8. Disappointed, especially with its size! In Spain I saw a boy with such umbrella, it was much bigger.
