Adds a bit of a matte finish to acrylic paint, not dramatically different than before, but noticeably less glossy. It also adds a bit of stiffness, reduces drying time by a little bit, and makes spreading/mixing the paint more difficult, but a firm brush and some elbow grease gets the job done.It's good for the price, but if you want a better result, spend more on a better brand

I used to use a different medium sold at walmart but they stopped selling it so I found this and its been the BEST medium I've ever used. It's way better than the other one and the finish is amazing! It's not as easy to scratch off and is great to use for toner prints and it works great as an adhesive. I love it!

Great matte gel medium for collaging purposes

The reason for the title: I once painted in oil, acrylics, and other mediums like caseine. But I went into digital for a long time. I back after a couple of decades and tinkering. This medium seems just fine. The price is good.

Love...so many uses

Product works as described to reduce the opacity of acrylics and coat surfaces. Seems very transparent, but I've only tried it over light colors. Unfortunately, you can't use pencils or silverpoint over this medium the way you can with most acrylics. The texture is just too smooth.

I love it. I need to buy more of it. I am a colorist that paints my coloring pictures as a kind of pre-coloried beforehand enhancement. Sometimes it works;sometimes it doesn't.

It does not dry clear it dries very cloudy. I bought this for a couple reasons. On of them is a piece I’m working on involving clear glass. It did not work well for that but the other project is on canvas so it should work
