As of a farmer who loves every aspect of gardening this book is an ultimate resource guide. It is in my top 20 of go-to resource books. This book discusses the different types/ styles of gardening with awesome pictures and explanations. I also love the book because I can build my memorization of the scientific names for many of my favorite plants.This book was very comprehensive and easy to follow. I'm in love with the layout of the book!!! I recommend this book for green thumbs and newly green thumbs as well as inquiring green thumbs!!!

This books has lots of pertinent information The writing is small. 8 or 9 font. The plants are listed by their scientific names followed by their common names which can make it somewhat difficult to find the plant you may be looking for. all in all, it's got everything you need to know what and when to plant.

Received one as a gift. Lots a goidinformation. I then bought one as a gift for a friend who is a Mater Gardeners. They stated it was a great Book.

My sister loved this gift. She is an avid gardener & loved this book. So easy to flip to what you need.

Your never to old to learn new things! Read a Book!

I am an avid, experienced gardener, but every gardener has questions and this book is everything I hoped it would be! The pictures are excellent, explanations are easy to understand and it covered areas I didn't even think about. I highly recommend this book, whether you are experienced or just starting your first garden it will be helpful for any stage of gardener.

Whether you’re an amateur gardener or a much more experienced one, there is something here for you. I especially appreciate the way the book is organized which is summarized on pages 6-7 of my book (see pics), as well as ideas for different garden styles, plant profiles and zones.**I ended up buying a used version (very good) and could barely notice that it had a previous owner—great price for slightly new book.I’ll be referring to this book for many years to come. 💚🌱

I particularly enjoyed the way this book was organized: plants for shade, plants for sun, plants for sandy soils, plants for clay soils, plants for ponds, etc. That was a different take from most garden books that dictate a costly and backbreaking prescription of soil amendments for what is natural about a yard.

Me decepcionó la información. Me parece redundante, inconsistente y poco relevante. La calidad de las imágenes y papel muy buena como la de todos los libros DK.
