I don't believe the light reflects, it is a red lens and bulb behind it. It is a very low light and the flashlight stopped working after using it for a short time. Even though not very expensive don't waste your money.

It is a high power red LED, not a laser. It's great for hunting or night ops, as many animals can't see red and your night vision is preserved.
