At first I was not sure if it would work. But after I used it I fell in love with this prodect. My feet feel so smooth almost silky. I'm going to make my husband use it too. This is the best callus file I've found. It turns your crusty callus into dust.I previously bought Germanikure crystal file to remove my calluses and it worked ok. So ergonomically this could prob be improved it’s kind of small and I feel changes could be made to make it easier to grip. That said I would also say this isn’t for someone with a lot of dead skin to work on. This is similar to a 200 grit sandpaper (fine / finishing work). If you have lots of dead skin you prob want a coarser tool to get the bulk. After that if you keep up with it this would be fine to use for maintaining. It leaves skin very smooth thanks to it being like a fine sandpaper but I wouldn’t want to take on a major initial dead skin removal it would just take too long and wear your hand out. Overall it’s good for me and I would recommend this product. It’s easy to clean and a solid little piece of glass that I think will last a long time.Update I used this on the palms of my hands to remove some calluses and I’m amazed. My hands have never been so soft and smooth it’s really done an amazing job of getting to the soft fresh layer of skin below all the dead cells and I’m very happy.

This works best as a polishing, finishing step. It is not for thick calluses. Easy to clean though. I guess nothing beats a professional pedicure.
