Great Supplies, Terrible Backpack. Here's How to Prepare:
I learned early on this year that the American Red Cross recommends all people be prepared for evacuation in case of natural disasters or societal upheaval. I paid $175 for the advanced backpack with food and water at the height of the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020 and I'd still say it was worth it. I won't pretend like this is an actually complete kit, but I'd say it's good value for the price. The bag came with all the supplies listed and with a full 5 years before expiration. The backpack itself is roomy, but flimsy. Good to keep in a car but I wouldn't recommend actually carrying it for any distance over maybe a few hundred yards.I bought this bag for 2 people and will be splitting its contents, along with other supplies I've gathered, between our two packs. We've bought serious hiking backpacks with internal frames as we want to be prepared to hoof it on foot if absolutely necessary. Everyone's needs will vary, though. It's important to know that while this kit is a good starting place for a survival kit, if it is ever actually used for some of its intended purposes it is still somewhat incomplete. Depending on your estimated needs I'd recommend getting a water-resistant and tear-resistant map of your area and areas you may travel to; water filtration straws and tablets; headlamps; a small kit of common medications; specific medications your family members take; copies of important documents like birth certificates and home mortgage papers; two-way radios; and a gas siphon for the most extreme of emergencies. Don't forget extra (wool) socks and a good hat. Get a hat appropriate to your climate. If the bag is for use in the woods, then add things like a small wood-burning camp stove, stormproof matches, maybe alcohol tablets or pyro putty, a wool blanket, and a camping pot/pan or two. Don't forget hygiene items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, small towels and sponges, etc. I'd also carry a hardcopy guide on outdoor survival and outdoor medical attention procedures. If you're really looking to be prepared, buy a tourniquet or Israel bandages for serious blood-loss emergencies. If you have babies or pets, plan appropriately. This pack is meant to be a few-day last-resort option that most people will never use, but even with that in mind it should still be fully stocked. Keep this kit, along with a hard-copy evacuation plan and emergency contacts near the exit point of choice in your home.

Quick survival pack
This arrived appropriately packaged with 361 pieces, 4 person/3 day supply. The backpack holds everything with a little room to spare. However, it's already very heavy to carry you would judge additional items by the weight you are able to tote. All pieces were new, individually wrapped and new. In both the Deluxe and travel first aid kits the OTC (over the counter) medications and the packet of antibiotic ointment expiration dates are very soon - 08/2022. The rations expiration dates are 2025. The knife, axe and multifunction tools are in their own canvas holders: the knife has a belt loop, the axe has blade protector tips. The only things not labeled were the 4 biohazard bags but should be self explanatory for someone. Everything pictured and described arrived as shown, in their respective packages, new.

Be prepared
Hurricane Milton came and went. I felt fully prepared with this hurricane pack.., especially when I discovered that all of the stores were out of water.I did add a few items to the pack which is why I gave it a 4 star rating.I added a small crank radio, a battery operated flashlight, some protein bars, and a water straw that will filter your water when you drink if there are no other options.

Great little emergency kit!
I bought this emergency kit for my daughter who is headed off to college in another state. I have to say that I am impressed. First, it is a very small backpack but has all the basics plus a little room. I love how small and compact it is, plus it has enough supplies for both her and her roommate. I will supplement it with identification, some money, a pocket knife, waterproof pen and paper, leather gloves, water purification tablets, and probably a few other small items. I am an emergency management volunteer and do search and rescue and feel this is a great little beginning emergency kit for my college bound daughter.

Yay!! Its here!!
I didn’t take a picture of the items because I was very excited to finally have it in my hands!! Lol but every single item was very well packaged. It even came with a list to verify you received it right. I’m very happy with my purchase. I will definitely share this. The bagback is not as bad as I read in some comments. However if you’re looking for a ww3 bagpack, then you should consider putting all the items that comes with it in another bad.Thank you very much!
